I made the full switch about a year ago (after using GR and SG in tandem for the year prior) and I have not ONCE wanted to open up my old GR account. SG is truly the best!
One thing not mentioned here and that I just discovered while going through that site is that it proposes an easy export/import feature. It sends you directly to the goodreads export page, you export, and import into storygraph with a few clicks. I'm waiting for my import to be validated now and see what it looks like. It would really only be for the stats page and I'll still continue using goodreads as well.
Story graph is great. But it doesn't have the same impact. Interacting with people is harder. You can't comment on review. And most people don't even write reviews.
@@CreativeisMind a silver lining. But it also restrict interactions. Goodreads allows you to connect with like-minded individuals from different parts of the world. I like that about it

I can’t see myself abandoning Goodreads. Storygraph obviously has a bunch of advantages, but I’m just too set in my ways. 👴
Haha and that’s ok!
Same! That's why I use both 😅

I prefer that you can't comment on reviews. People can't respond with hate over your opinion unlike Goodreads

Great points!
