The Victoria cross is the British highest medal for a soldier and the George cross is the highest medal for normal citizens. Both are earned by an act of bravery.

Austria Hungary had the Order of Maria Theresa as the highest military honor. Bela Lugosi when he served in WW1, won the Wound Medal. In WWII, the Iron Cross had numerous grades. The highest grade was Iron Cross with Swords, Diamonds, and Golden Oak Leaves. It was given out once to the Stuka pilot Hans Ulrich Rudel.

The National Order of the Legion of Honour is the highest medal to get in the french army, it requires 20 years of civil achievement in peacetime or extraordinary military bravery and service in times of war yeah, so... a tad difficult to achieve.
The Legion of Honor is the highest medal to be given in the French army. Also the Iron Cross is still given to soldiers today, it just looks a bit different from what they gave out in the second world war. Also "injured" is incorrect to use for military. Injured is when you fall out of a tree and break your arm. The term is wounded.

France's greatest medal is La Croix de Guerre (The War Cross). It is the sign of highest bravery. Though, there was within the Germany Army prior to and during World War I Pour le Mérite (For Merit), which was based upon Frederick II (the Great's) love of French culture.
You can make a gatling gun for the French and the British kind of like how you made the German mg 42 and you can also make a cannon using the tank shot
the british top gallantry medal is the Victoria Cross, given for valour beyond that normal expectedly of the british soldier in face of the enemy. Otherwise its the George Cross
Legion of Honor for France. England is the George Cross. The Victoria Cross for Canada, New Zealand and Australia. The Supreme Orders of the Chrysanthemumis Japan's
It’s terrifying to see how destructive these battles are when soldiers don’t experience moral.
i would like to see a robots vs zombies battle, once they add robots in uebs2
Damn, those body piles were almost as tall as the towers.
Google says France's highest military honor is The National Order of the Legion of Honour. Sounds like a mouthful. Maybe it's shorter in French.
In French we only say "Legion of Honour" (la Légion d'honneur)

The German version of the purple heart seems much better because during WW2 getting trench foot and losing a limb were both worth one purple heart.
The US version was better because the only way to earn the German version was to support the fucking nazis.

The way they were climbing over the ramps and gates was like the scene from day z
this may be the biggest body pile we have ever seen in one spot
The image of them pouring over the ramparts makes this one of my favourite battles
With the body piles and stuff makes it looks like the knights are zombies from wwz and are climbing the walls.
In the Army and AF you get an oak cluster added on to the original Purple Heart for subsequent injuries. And a star for all other branches
If memory serves I believe the British medal is the Victoria's Cross.
I know the top British medal is the Victorian Cross.

You should try such a battle on the Egypt map. See if you can bury a Pyramid beneath a body pile.
I wonder how many years it would take to remove the bodies?
Might be better to just abandon the castle and leave the bodies there.
And to think 10x that amount of people died during ww2...
@@aerldonathan4381 - spread over the world. That's a lot easier to clean up than all in one pile.
Fire, a lot of fire, just burn the bodies, probably the best way to deal with any diseases they had as well.
