Agreed. I noticed even my favourite band, Metallica, has some post production editing when they upload their live videos. It still sounds good, but I wish it sounded more raw.
@@jason101588 I have a friend in the industry and they say that it's the record companies that put pressure on all artists now to have some degree of auto-tune on vocals and quantisation on tempos these days, it's like modern producers are addicted to 'perfection' in music rather than pure flavour and chaos. You will find others however like Jack White, Lenny Kravitz and others and the more seasoned artists like Peter Frampton (and thank god he finally got into the RnR Hall of Fame this year) in that scene that will insist on seeking out producers who won't subscribe to that and have enough sway to be able to demand what they want. Younger artists not so much. I think they're easily intimidated by the 'machine' that drives the music industry unfortunately.
