- Konosuke Takeshita got his start in DDT Pro Wrestling, having his first official match in August of 2012 against El Generico. They must have seen something in him, because they started having him feud with Kenny Omega. Having a series of matches throughout 2012 & 2013. This ultimately led to Takeshita getting a clean pin over Kenny Omega in September of 2014 thanks to his Straight-Jacket German Suplex, to capture the KO-D Tag Team Titles with Tetsuya Endo. DDT continued to showcase Takeshita, even having him get to the Finals of King Of DDT 2015, but ultimately losing to Yukio Sakaguchi. Takeshita finally got his first taste of Singles gold in May of 2016, when he bested Daisuke Sasaki for the KO-D Openweight Championship. This reign wouldn't be anything spectacular, as he would only hold it for a few months. He would get a 2nd reign with the Title though, beating HARASHIMA in March of 2017. This is where he was really able to shine, holding the title for over a year (405 days). He would go on to have 10 successful Title defenses. Beating the likes of Mike Bailey, Tetsuya Endo, Shuji Ishikawa & Colt Cabana. 2019 would arguably be Takeshita's breakout year. He would win both of DDT's major Singles Tournaments (D-Ou Grand Prix 2019 & King Of DDT 2019), win the KO-D Openweight Championship two more times, and even make his United States debut at EVOLVE. 2020 was a bit of a slow year, as it was for everyone. In early 2021, Takeshita began competing regularly for AEW. This was likely where most US fans first saw him. This buzz and surge of popularity would push Takeshita to once again become a Double-Tourney winner, coming out on top for both the King Of DDT 2021 & D-Ou Grand Prix 2021. In 2022, Takeshita started working for many US Indy promotions regularly. Including DPW, NEW, Prestige, DEFY, West Coast Pro & even PWG where he made it to the finals of Battle Of Los Angeles 2023. Mid 2023, Takeshita would join the Callis Family stable in AEW. This was a good career move, as Takeshita won the AEW International Title from Will Ospreay in October of 2024. Konosuke Takeshita has quite the in depth moveset, leading to another monster Top Moves List. Tons of German Suplexes, Brainbusters & Knee Strikes to go around for everyone. Hope you guys enjoy the video, and let me know what you think in the comments!

Konosuke is destined to win himself a World Heavyweight title, it hasn't happened yet, but with the kind of talent this man possesses, it's more than inevitable
Also, can you imagine an old school All Japan match between him and prime era Misawa? Wouldn't be enough stars in the universe for Meltzer to rate it with
That would be a hell of a bout. I feel like he took a little bit from all the Pillars, and that's awesome.
Takeshita is always an amazing wrestler to watch, awesome job
I should have known you had something planned with those recent Take clips you were uploading as of late.
A 100 top moveset is bold but for you, another day lol. Keep up the great work
Hah, just another walk in the park 😂. Thanks for the support as always dude.
Absolutely MIND BLOWING, just how much work you put into this. Amazing work with the sheer SPAN of his career, covering him in all of his forms. Literally From Freiza First form, to Golden Freiza.
#12 is such a beauty to watch everytime he does it
The future of wrestling is safe
I'm glad we've gotten to see this guy alot more, i hope he gets a world title run one day
I'm thankful that he's broken out in the US. I will admit I didn't really start watching him until his AEW/US Indy debut.
He has so many amazing moves
Awesome top moves compilation .
Its always a pleasure to see Big bro Takeshita in action .

That Avalanche Lariat is legit one of my fav big moves I’ve seen
Awesome video man! He wasnt playing with those Brainbusters on the floor, those looked rough!
AEWで有名になってからの映像だけでなく、DDTでの若手の頃からの映像も数多く採用されていることを非常に嬉しく思っています
愛とリスペクトのあふれる映像を作ってくださったことに感謝します
Konosuke Takeshita Is Incredible
What are the technical move names for Caballo 2020 (13:42) and Plus Ultra (18:40)?
@@steelmagnum5131 Cabello is a Camel Clutch/Sleeper Hold combo, and Plus Ultra is a Sleeper Hold/Crossface Chickenwing combo (I think)
@@steelmagnum5131 Caballo 2020 is a Camel Clutch Sleeper. Plus Ultra has been described as a Crossface Chickenwing/Sleeper combo on results, but it's definitely more of a Crossface Chickenwing/Cobra-Clutch Combo.
I Love Your TH-cam Channel Thunderfilez
First announcer hit that shit so clean damn
Dude reminds me of a younger Kota Ibushi. Fast, athletic, powerful. Heck, they share quite a number of moves too.
Takeshita has future world champion written all over him.
Future World Champion, no doubt.
Also, that back suplex at 1:12 looks *painful.*
Oh, yeah. He will be.

Next video, you should do moves of "Speedball" Mike Bailey
@@jalenmartin7642 Not gonna happen anytime soon. I love Speedball, but he's entirely too big of a project for me to take on right now. Maybe someday
holy shit D P DUB !!!
I hope he brings back the Surprise Rose as like, a superfinish. Do you know if anyone has kicked out of it to this point?
@@koss7148 Yes, Irie did, I think he may be the only one.

For Cornette to find out about Takeshita's DDT shenanigans and for him to still praise him, that has to mean Takeshita is some next level talent.
He is really really solid. He should be used to his max potential while he is still in his prime and not have it be wasted by being just another guy in one of many groups and stables in AEW. Just my opinion..
Bro has bigger moveset that entire WWE roster
BRAIN
@@crabohato4954 🧠
absolutely loooove his moveset but I feel like he needs a better, more defined finisher. Raging Fire looks a bit too much like a basic move imo
never talk shit, take shit-a
Is there anything he CAN’T do?
