    More 80 series content!!! I literally pieced together the exact same lift you put on a few months back. Well done!!! So glad to see someone put it all together and love it before I got mine installed. I’m psyched! Keep up the good work.
    Props,
    Wes from west Texas.

    Love your truck. Drove my 80 off the Frontier Toyota lot in November 1993 and still going strong! Definitely some secret sauce built into the 80s.

    I worked with Phil at Dissent in Colfax, CA. Awesome guy. I'm running the same rear bumper. You might want to look at getting your sliders from White Knuckle out of apple Valley, CA. They also have a skid plate for transportation. Both were super beefy and easy to install. Your rig is looking great. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work. Thank you for sharing.

    You're in Minnesota? Whereabouts? I am in Minneapolis with a Collectors Edition 3X locked 80. A couple of things that you might want to do next that is not expensive is the $25 attic mod and the tailgate storage. 2 great, useful mods that are super easy to do.

    • @fpartidafpartida

      Do you have any good recommendations for going wheeling in our state? Just got a new capable 4x4 SUV and looking to test out. Everything is still stock, but it has over 15” of ground clearance, 35’ ATs and 900+ lb feet of torque.

    • @NigelNaughton
      @NigelNaughton ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@fpartidafpartida sadly there isn't much public land available for wheeling in Minnesota. I guess check with some local 4WD clubs.

    • @greymatter6834
      @greymatter6834 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@fpartidafpartida Google 4wd discussions about Minnesota trails. Get out of the cities, maybe close towards Stillwater area, ask locals. Way west by the Dakotas is Appleton off road area. Fun place to drive, likely over 4 hours one way trip. I usually go to the Black Hills, but half the trails that were open 10 years ago are now closed off. 🤷🏽‍♂️

    • @OverlandEngineer

    How much ground clearance do you have after you installed your lift? Also, do you where is the proper spot to measure that from? The Diff? Or whatever the lowest part of the vehicle that would hit an obstacle?

    Triple locked. Dumb phrase only used in the US. 🙄 Also those are shocks not struts, and it's steering damper no dampener.
