Located in a gated community in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, Casa Puente is an example of architectural innovation that combines functional design and respect for the natural environment. This 360m² house, built on a hilly terrain, stands out for its volumetry that imitates a bridge, taking advantage of the unevenness of the terrain. The upper volume is oriented to control solar ingress, while the lower, semi-buried volume helps reduce direct solar radiation.
The interior design of the upper floor opens onto interior gardens, while on the ground floor, the private area offers cross ventilation thanks to an English patio. The materials - flagstone, concrete, wood and glass - are integrated harmoniously, creating a visually striking structure that highlights the façade and the porticos that support the house.
Casa Puente is a masterpiece that fuses modernity and tradition, achieving a perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics.
Casa RF: Efficient Design in Porongo
The RF House, located in a gated community in Porongo, Santa Cruz-Bolivia, is designed based on the existing vegetation, respecting the trees on the land. This two-volume project creates open patios that integrate nature with the interior spaces. In the main volume, distributed over two floors, the social areas occupy the ground floor, while the private areas are located on the upper floor. The secondary volume houses leisure spaces and other operational areas.
The design stands out for its central circulation and transparency that connects all spaces, providing luminosity and fluidity. The use of concrete on the outside and wood on the inside creates a contrast that brings warmth and order to the whole. The glass allows the visual connection between the interior and exterior, reinforcing the feeling of spaciousness.
Casa RF is an example of efficiency and contemporary design, where modularity not only optimizes construction times and costs, but also highlights the structured aesthetics of the home.
