I'm familiar with Kimuka and the masais there. could the masai boys be reacting from previous run ins with cyclists? Perhaps one their goats was knocked down? Just thinking aloud. And ahem, did you just wash that bike in the tub 😃?
Evans. Possible. Unless it had just happened as I had already met about 10 cyclists by this point. The cyclists I had met by then were all fine gentlemen that I know personally as you can hear me saying their names, and they would not have been mean. I was alone and it felt like they singled me out 😰. One of them was saying 'kaa radar' and all 3 came to attack me. Once on the way to the turn but I had appeared from behind them and moving fast so they didn't have time to react but I had noticed, and then again when I approached them from the front..
Reminds me of the Kenya open Nairobi to Magadi in 1986 that I took part. I was in Form4 Parklands High School my school mates Patrick came 1st and Ken 2nd I had a bad start due to not feeling well but as the race progressed I started pedalling faster managed 10th place in the end. I had a bad cold at the start but it was gone by the end. The highlight was the Magadi Road at one point I was all alone in the horizon I saw stones on the road as I approached I realised they were baboons so I yelled and pedalled one or two tried to catch me lol... i just lift up my legs and went through them😂😂😂
Thank you for the empathy Tony. I didn't believe kids could attempt this on me; a big Kenyan man moving fast! or anyone really - it's a dangerous thing they're attempting without realising their safety can be compromised if I knocked them at high speed or at all. I hope everyone stays safe. I would hate to hear they hurt anyone although now we have a video of their faces and can find them.
Oh my! I missed it in editing. I would've slowed down and shown it clearly to shame them. That's disgraceful. Thanks for pointing it out buddy. I will def have a look at it.
@4:31 these kids need to be educated on the dangers. Should it occur again I would seek audience with theirs parents by all means. It’s very dangerous! They might be having no idea that it is. In just a few more years they’ll maybe on receiving end themselves. They need to understand their actions are not appropriate...
If I was in a group, I would have stopped to talk to them and understand why they're being irate. It's very dangerous, a 94 kg man crushing in to you at 40kph is no joke. And they also don't know how an attacked adult can react. They scampered for dear life and I hope they won't repeat this behaviour on anyone.
@@MosesAmira hopefully they won’t repeat that again. The route seems to be very popular for road bikers. Don’t have to worry about silly kids on top of the muggers...
good video quality which type of camera is that?
A GoPro and my phone
Keep posting, good to see!
Thank you 👊🏾
😂😂 bike in the bathtub, nice!!😁 But was it after or before you did yourself the honors after a hot ride 😂👍
🤣 this was after I had sunk myself in the tub for a good amount of time ⏲️ ⌛
@@MosesAmira either way both of you deserved the tub 🛀😇😂😂

Hehe! Bath tub - Just using my money's worth at the hotel lol! This is what happens when a hustler takes a holiday 🤦🏾♂️
eyyy, I am in the video, I am that cyclist that you passed just right after those boys🤣
Aaah, wow! Great to see you here. Did they give you any trouble?
@@MosesAmira no, i dont even remember seeing them.
you must’ve made them realise that messing with us cyclists will land them in big trouble.👌
That's good Jeremy. I hope it stays that way, I have them on video and they can be traced if they try anything 👊🏾

@@MosesAmira Well said Moses, please stay safe and keep the videos comin' !
Crazy traffic - again but a good spin non the less 👍
Thanks Tudor. And yet this day there was less traffic on this road because it was a Sunday. Normally, it's much more 😱
Ngong road is a nightmare, i prefer using Karen Ushirika Road then Forest Lane to avoid the narrow Karen to Bulbul section..
Good call. I like that option too. It was a Sunday and I expected less traffic but nope!
I also use that route .. its safer and more quiet
@1:42 check-out the exchange of cash... will we ever see the end of this pathetic behavior... 🤬😡
