I know I'm late, but Michigan or Ohio side? We're killing em on the Michigan side this year. Launching out of Sterling State Park, 18-25ft of water. Same rig, emerald shiners.
I have, it is just the spot. You can catch it any time and nearly everywhere just get a spinner/spoon with red on it(very important ever if it is just a tiny spot) and you are good to go, just make sure the you got a good line and a good rod I am speaking from experience I snapped one rod on a big one but then I just pulled it up with hand.
Hey man, love your vids. Been subscriber for a while. Not sure if you'll answer this but: I'm in Ohio and I do a lot of fishing just trying to get the channel back. What part of Ohio are you in? Love to maybe hook up and fish sometime possibly. Thanks -KickBassFishing4 Lol
i went on roy's charter today for perch, he's a really cool guy with great prices, except our trip was nothing like this, we only caught 20 perch, and i caught 15 of them....
+TheeFirewoodGuy It keeps the lake full of fish. Overfishing is a HUGE problem in Tennessee( where I'm from), so we probably have 50-100 fish a lake. Not superbad #s, but not GREAT.
dude you were chartering right by my house, if your up in that area, pls, pls, pls, pls, contact me cause i have ponds and inland lakes that have giant fish, like i have caught 6 pounders out of!
hhniroz plzz keep it to ur wrote if we propel don't eat and catch the fish the lakes would be over populated so just keep it in mind that other people eat them and I also catch and clean my own fish and I'm only 13 but I do respect ur opinion
Poor handling of fish just being thrown in a bucket to slowly die. They aren't even keeping them cold so its probably bad meat by the time you go to cook it up later. Just goes to show they don't really know what they are doing out there. Those older guys give us fisher/hunters a bad name. One quick wack or stab could have put them out of misery. It's not like I don't use live bait my self. I use minnows if I want to catch and cook fish I eat. Why cause more suffering then you need to. Sad when cruelty for no reason is normalized.
I live in Erie, Pa and I fish Presque Isle and the creeks that come from Lake Erie
