    I have soo many guys telling me that my 09 500r is underpowered. Staggeringly so..."oh its a 500...should have bought a 600." Idk what they heard but this bike friggin zips!!! Its my first bike, im 35 years old, and dont have a death wish. I live in ohio and in 3 days the cold will break and the precipitation will stop so I can get back on my baby, I love love love this bike!!! Its not underpowered, it is extremely responsive to pushes and leans, and if you are the type of person who grew up looking at ninjas thinking "wow!" This is it. GREAT BIKE...JUST...GREAT!!! Excellent review my man.

      Probably people like me dropping down from a 1000cc sports bike. Compared to that, it's extremely underpowered. However, they're completely missing the point. I realised that I don't need 1000cc. I want something light, fun and cheap to ride, that I can take on the motorway at 70mph. The little Kwak does all of that and does it well.

    It is super nimble and comfortable with tight curves canyon carving, it is extremely fun, especially for the buck. It is a parallel twin. I go 110 without even noticing, it effortlessly goes 118, it goes 120 but I keep it under 115, every weekend...😊

    is there anything in between a 500 and a 600 in terms of weight and power?

    • @JesusChrist_IsTruth-LoveForALL
      @JesusChrist_IsTruth-LoveForALL ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Most of the 600s are super sports. Weight probably not much, but for the power the 600 smokes a 500 easily, a 650 though, then the 500 and the 650 not TOO much difference.

    • @IFixShet
      @IFixShet  ปีที่แล้ว

      Some of the 650 parallel twin engines can get pretty rowdy I have yet to find one on power though with an actual 600 super sport. What you have to remember is in line 4 cylindersAre short shaft engines which is why they're so fast in the mid-range RP m's where a parallel twin-engine has long cylinders so they can't reach quite the same RPM value as an in line 4 that's why parallel twins are more aggressive in the low RPM range.
