For a senior fly tier this would be perfect for organizing the material and tools needed for fly tying projects. One can set up the station the way that would suit their taste.

J Stockard directed me to this video of the Foamanizer, which I appreciate. I am always on the lookout for useful storage and organizational equipment for my fly tying. The Foamaninzer seems to have lots of slots designed to fit certain specific products, but it would be helpful to be able to see which types of containers and supplies fit in which slots, as well as seeing the Foamanizer set up on a tying desk with the various supplies in place. A longer video with more details would certainly help. The configuration shown by the Demuths would be too large for my tying desk, but the larger (16 inch?) unit on its own might be functional. I do see a fair amount of sag in the units though. Either more supports or a firmer material would help improve the product. There are some interesting ideas there, like the magnetic umbrella, but I can't see myself replacing my current cobbled together, but functional, system with the Foamanizer, although I could see adding the magnetic umbrella to my existing set up if the support pole would fit in one of the existing holes currently used for something else.
Love the organization, curious as to why it's soft foam instead of something like UHMW or even wood; durability could be a concern? Thanks to J Stockard for pointing me here!
Heard a lot about this product lately. Not sure It's something I would use yet. I have a great fly shop right in town but still order a lot of fly tying materials from J. Stockard. They have a great selection and get your order to you quickly.
My fly tying table is wayyy too much of a mess to share online even though it would be hilarious, and this product honestly should solve all my issues. Currently I’m pulling some Pearl crystal flash out of a massive tangled ball of two different crystal flashes, two types of wire, and a ball of chenille. Thanks to J. Stockard for sending me to this video. I’ll have to get one when I restock on hooks (from j stockard of course)

Great modular system. Saw this earlier on another video and found it pretty adaptable for a great 😮variety of configurations. Hareline made a really new system eclipsing their rivals using foam organizers and #jstockard has been forward thinking in getting it out to fly tyers and theirs customers. One improvement would be to add pins for thread storage. It would make this system more versatile as well as portable, if needed. Nice product.
I’ve been interested to try the foamanizer from J. stockard! 😄 It does, however, seem to have a pretty large footprint. I work on a smaller desk… do you find that it is a bit overbearing?

Nice idea. I find trying to organize my bench is a perpetual work in progress. I think the foamanizer would be even more helpful if at least some of the cut outs could be customized. For example pre-cut the foam in a way that one could create either be a circle, a square or rectangle but leave the material in place that the configuration could be adjusted.

Hopefully you will do a more independent review later this looks to be a great idea . Big question is will the form hold up to heavy use and spills.
