Thanks for the detailed, well explained instructions on how to do this. My husband and I are about to insulate our son's walls with spray foam, never having done it before. With the instructions and tips from your video I feel more confident now that we can complete it correctly. Thank you again!!
Would this work if there is already insulation in the walls? Hoping to reduce external noise and improve insulation.
I have same question. Did you get an answer? My walls already have 4cm of plasterboard insulation with a gap of around 3cm behind
Well done & informative video on DYI spray foam. However, It would be nice to know the approximate cubic feet the kit will fill for estimations on a total cost of a project I am going to do.
Thanks for the video! Your top holes appear to be about 8" from the ceiling. Do you expect the spray foam to expand above those holes to fill to the top of the cavity?
He mentioned that there is solid wood behind the walls at the top.
Did I get it right? I might have to drill holes every foot up between every stud? Imagine patching after! Yikes!
Michael Ziakas correct, if you have wall cavities 2” or less
No one doing this in the UK, I WANT our internal stud walls filled !
Too noisy now, also unnecessary heat loss.
tricky but worth doing it RIGHT!!!!!
850 dollars a wall woof
Looks like a mess.
