Hard to project how this kid will perform at the pro level when he's required to dribble less and pass more. Right now he over-dribbles like crazy. I realize it's his highlight reel, but i've seen many other highlight reels an he's just about hitting the lowlights by making the game a 1 on 5 solo-fest. I've seen many a star young player who couldn't hack it at the pro-level, because their sole mojo was doing the Harlem Globetrotter thing. Hopefully this kid game matures...

Only thing about him I see that he needs to work on would be defense, but I haven't watched any full games of his to say much. He is the most entertaining player in this years class for sure. I bet him, and DJ and Edwards and Bradshaw all go in the first round after this next season.

Doesnt finish with his left hand. Very small frame and average athleticism. He's #13 ranked in a really weak recruiting class, it's totally realistic for him to not make NBA starting lineups. Look at Malik Monk. Similar player in his class, better frame & way better athleticism, and absurd 3 point shooting. Was dropping 40 point games at Kentucky, and now he can score fucking 47 in an NBA game but isn't complete enough to be a starter. I agree Rob will be a first round pick because Cal will cut a lot of the fat from his game, but to say "the only thing he needs to work on is defense" is naive. It's not even close to a guarantee that he's an NBA starter, or even a rotation player.

He is a natural doctor and can handle the ball well. I agree with the Malik Monk comparison, however I disagree with this class being weak, I actually think this class is alot stronger than people think. This class IMO will surprise Alot of people. Just watching the USA vs world game and the McDonald's all American game I thought those two games were actually examples of how this class is definitely underrated. Rob Dillingham could be a star in the league, or he could be a role player or on the bench, but you can't say his potential is up there. Jamal Crawford is a primary example, and his game is similar to Crawford. We will see but I think this kid will be better than people think.

Now that it's OK to carry the ball when dribbling you can pretty much write your own ticket while traveling at the same time
