Using a pencil to curl is so much better than a chopstick. I did it a couple years ago on my daughter for a quick hairstyle for picture day they came out really well.
When I was in junior highscool, I used to do that curling method in 10:13 during our break and it always curls. You just need to let it be like that for 1-2 hours so the curl will be more intense.
I have actually tried the hair-twisting one before, and it totally works! It just has to be damp and you leave it in overnight and it comes out pretty curly.
Ok, but I think they should be nice or smart enough to be more specific and when the girl in the video did her's, her hair was dry... and it wasn't overnight

I've taken plenty of tips from him that are sensible and work. I've recently successfully gone from bleach blonde to 'Ariel' red thanks to his tips. There is a channel called "how to cook that" basically calling these types of channels out and debunking all the lies they put out for money and views, and some of them are very dangerous
I've watched her videos debunking the crap they put in their videos. Have to say one of the most dangerous "hacks" they show is turning a red strawberry white by soaking it in a bleach mixture, then showing someone taking a bite out of said white strawberry (though we all know it isn't the same one but rather a variety of strawberry that is naturally that color). Also another one where they drizzle hot caramel onto running beaters to make decoration. When she tested it (safely of course) she proved that the caramel would splatter hot enough to burn skin. Sad thing is even with all of this dangerous crap they have in their videos the channels are allowed to keep publishing those videos.
I think the weirdest hair hack I’ve ever seen is this lady who’s like “oh no I don’t have a hair tie” and pulls A WATER BALLOON out, cuts off the little band on the end and ties her hair back with tHAT. iN wHaT gALaXy would I have a water balloon instead of a hair tie lying around??
I used the rubber thingy from the base of a condom for MONTHS to tie up my hair. (Not the whole condom lol... I ripped the sheath-y part off) It was sad. In my defence I was on meth at the time so it seemed like an amazing hack and I didn’t care anyway cos I didn’t shower and I was wearing someone else’s clothes for three months straight so it didn’t seem too gross at the time.
best thing i can say is when i worked at a food place, id rip the end part of the rubber glove off if i forgot a hair tie. found that the powdered silicon type jawns didnt pull my hair out when i would take it out either ctfu......... a clean glove of course
some people are actually walking around with those shields on their face in place of a mask and it kinda defeats the purpose because the germs can go under the shield, its not the holy ghost and passover isn't all year round
10:40 is a legit hack and I'm actually surprised that you guys don't know about this. this is how i curl my hair without heating tools and it also curls my fine, super straight hair (makes it wavy in less than a minute and even more defined when you leave in on for longer).

Selfmade flaxseed gel is actually one of the best hair products I have ever discovered😄 it makes more sense though to use it on curly hair, basically as a gel to prevent your hair from getting frizzy while drying. It makes a huuuge difference! And it also moisturizes your hair of course:)

I just found this video and the ironing hair with the iron brought back memories. Back when we didn’t have straighteners but we used to use a tea towel on top of our hair as if that helped protect it. We got caught once by parents and they were horrified. Many times we burnt ears 🤯

Selfmade flaxseed gel is actually one of the best hair products I have ever discovered😄 it makes more sense though to use it on curly hair, basically as a gel to prevent your hair from getting frizzy while drying. It makes a huuuge difference! And it also moisturizes your hair of course:)

I just found this video and the ironing hair with the iron brought back memories.
