    You gotta hear Ali talk about going to Iran to speak about the human rights violations that happen everyday in the USA by the government and police. Rapping in Iran is illegal but the people convince Ali to performs this song for them. The next day, SHIT GETS REAL.

      "Brother Ali - Uncle Usi Taught Me" is about that. You should do a reaction to that song too. It's almost a sequel to Uncle Sam God Dam. But not really.

    • @DoubleKlutchRacing

      If any song is a sequel it’d be “mourning in America” but ay “uncle usi taught me” is my favorite by Ali

    I think some of what he is saying about us still being enslaved has to do with both what you said, about us being wage slaves and not really being free, but also the prison industrial complex and police violence. There are literally agents of the state patrolling in every town and city in America who have a financial incentive to arrest any and every citizen they can pin something on, especially if they are black and brown. And then once they are arrested they can be pretty easily coerced into copping a plea, or thrown in front of a jury and called a criminal, and once convicted they can legally be used as a slave, housed in privatized prisons, fed substandard food. And once you get out you cant get a job, cant apply for financial aid to go to college, cant get any form of government or social assistance, cant live in public housing. So are we as people really free?

    *Brother Ali - Pen to the Paper* is a short one but real good track, one of his newer works too, highly recommended .. and as for this one you're reacting too, you'd probably dig his track *Letter to the Government* which has a similar feeling to this one

    9:40 ish Two most important rights of all time:
    #1 it is yours and my right to freedom.
    #2 my rights shall not infringe on your rights and vice versa.
    One cannot express the right to freedom by limiting another’s ability to express their rights.

    I don't think it was taking a jab at people who won't help a homeless person I think it was more so showing a light to the fact that the government brought a lot of crack to Washington DC in the late 1970s and early 1980s through the contras

    • @jamesoblivion
      @jamesoblivion 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      He's basically asking people who won't support someone whom they presume to be an addict, to consider the fact that their taxes go to pay for the government's addiction to military excess and bloodshed. "The government's an addict, with a billion-dollar-a-week kill-brown-people habit."

      @@dxoxos It is actually. Remember his rhetoric about liberals? and Obama? Quote: "God does not have a birth certificate, and neither does Obama- not that We've seen."
      Here's one more me paraphrasing: "don't kill all the liberals, leave a few fossils out on university campuses so we can remind ourselves of what they stood for."

    • @lawrenceshdow

      😆.. I'm not gonna lie. I like both. But Rush was an OG of the troll idea. He'd tell the listener "ok; I'm about to say something that'll get me in papers tomorrow; they'll ignore that im admitting this and that I'm telling you this; but it's going to be great and we'll end up gaining listeners because of it; here it is; soon to be a headline; Hillary clinton murders babies with help from her friends in the media!. That's it; all you need to do to manipulate these shallow minds!"
      😆 I can't help that I find that shit funny; mostly because it works even when he declares it that way.
