It’s crystal clear that Wasim Akram is the most versatile and the greatest fast bowler of all time. ❤

If there was a draft for the best players I’ve seen, I’d have him go third after Viv and Warnie.

As an Australian I have always said Wasim was n still the best

Interesting that Wasim said that Mark Taylor was the toughest Australian batsman he bowled to. A big endorsement for Taylor who I think at times is often underrated as a batsman.

Oh how we miss this great man. Simple and kindhearted. You can’t find such a fine player elsewhere in the Subcontinent. I am not a Pakistani but I don’t follow much cricket nowadays because we don’t have players such as you.

Wasim might not realize this but he has given his Pakistani nation so much happiness when he bowled Allan Lamb and Chis out in the 1992 World Cup final, I still remember those two brilliant deliveries and still cherish those moments. I still get goose bumps and tears in my eyes. It is one of the best memory of my childhood. He made his nation really proud.

Glad to hear wasim refer to 'the great Kim Hughes'
Kim is never given enough compliments like that in the western countries. Seems that Pakistan and India had more respect for him than his homeland.

Exactly. He was a good player.

Great player, average captain. That's probably where the criticism comes from. I don't think any Australian ever doubted his ability as a batsman, but he should never have been made captain.

How strange and ironic is it that 2 of the greatest quicks wasim and mcgrath lost their wives in their career. The mental toughness and focus of these guys is unique

When he said " that's the reason, it's not the excuse " , you can tell he is genuine. However, wow, what a player. A genuine all rounder especially in his younger days, he could have batted in the middle order, without bowling and you'd have enjoyed his success anyway. As it turned out, he enjoyed taking wickets as a bowler, as well. 😊

Wasim as a bowler was master craftsman. Very rare bowler that comes on cricketing scenes once in a few decades.

We never won against India in the World Cup final
    Why?
    Because we love Money 😮
In 1994 World Cup cricket, just few hours before the cricket match , waseem announced that he has groin injury and didn’t play quarter final. Why did he not play?
Ask from Amir sohail who captained that match and told in his interview
    Available in TH-cam
The only time we won against India in champions trophy London
    Why
    Because
Army general was watching the match in the ground and Pakistani team was warned of match fixing.

There’s no such thing as Afghanistan, i am pathan and Pakistani. afghanis are Persians or khurasanis. We and afghani pashtoon are miles apart different. We don’t run away like coward afghanis to other countries as refugees when we are at war. We go to the front lines to defend our motherland. Afghani pathans run away from their shithole country to Pakistan through Torkham etc and to Iran and Europe etc and then bark at Pakistan 24/7. Punjabis are my brothers just like Sindhis and Balochis and Gilgitis, kashmisiris, Chitralis etc. we should kick out all Fuckghanistani namak haram outta our country and close borders, u will die within a week and we need not a bullet to conquer ur shithole so called country. Pakistan Zindabad from Pakhtoon ✊
