The MD-11 will always have a special place in my heart. My great Aunt was part of the team who designed and built this. I’m gonna have to buy this tonight.

I always thought the MD-11 was basically a revised version of the DC-10, due to the similarities of the two. I also thought the MD-11 was just a DC-10 re-release in an effort to bring back sales for the DC-10 (because of early accidents)
Didn’t know that McDonnell Douglas had to design a whole new trijet just for the MD-11...

Me too, aircraft turns left and right on straight. And sometimes makes random 360 turns. iIt is impossible to fly this plane with such bugs.

The MD-11 voice is a real person, same with the other series of voices that they had. They sound computerized on purpose, I imagine so it is not to be confused with ATC or conversation.

WORTH IT also im here 6 mins after it was posted
yesterday i went freediving at my local beach and i found a red strip of cloth about 20 feet off shore that said "remove before flight" it also looked very new and the key loop on it was hardly rusted at all. i also know that there is a flight path (probably 1200 ft up) right over the beach that i was at. my guess is that some bloke failed to complete his pre-flight
If it had a key loop that tells you that this was on someones keychain. Did your brain shut down?
