I don't hate Bieber at all..just saying that if he was born amongst Freddie's generation of singers, in the decade where there was no auto tune to correct any flaws, me thinks with the voice that he has, he would not be able to go very far..I mean, let's be honest, Bieber can sing, but he lacks the drive & hunger, versatility & originality as compared to singers like Freddie..but then, just like not everyone would be able to appreciate the genius of Freddie Mercury, I'm just stating that not everyone will be able to appreciate Bieber's voice..to each his own..my apologies, if my previous comments had been misunderstood as hatred for all things Bieber, but I did also mentioned Nikki Minaj as well..so, it was not targeted at Bieber at all.. I harbour no such feelings for him..😊!
A creative act can't be replaced by modern tech.
Still an iconic song to this day
Little did they know they were creating one of the most iconic songs to ever hit the airwaves. Still relevant today, that says a lot, not too many can do this today.
So amazing and perfectionnist. Freddie was a Real genius !!! Just listen the way he plays the piano and the way he sings ! His voice !!! Just made in heaven !!!
I couldn't agree Ana. The whole band play this magnificently...but the piano playing is particularly out of this world.
Oh I love watching Freddie playing piano
Freddie is a true virtuoso. A brilliant musician.
I love seeing them work together on the mixing desk. This was Freddie’s vision and it paid off big time. Such sweet memories. They were family who became legends ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
😢Freddy was BRILLIANT..HE IS MISSED!
No disrespect, but its "Freddie" 😊
Freddie is the best musician ever. He is completely into his music, he's so wonderful.. And his voice, his briliant voice.. We miss you, Freddie...
And yes, we are so happy to have a possibility to watch Queen recording in the studio. Thanks!
I am finding so many wonderful videos here. I am 71 and didn’t really know that Queen and Freddie sang the beautiful songs that I loved. How can someone miss this fantastic group? They are the best group and set of friends that made beautiful lifelong music. I regret not being able to see them at least once. 😥
Does anyone else every now and again feel the need for a super warm hug from Freddie to heal the soul💛💛
Queen.
7:39 john: "MORE BASS PLEASE"
I got their sugars..... Sweetest damn souls ever. They truly are a testament of love loyalty and humanity. 4 of the most beautiful talents together changed our world for the better.
Love, love, love this! Showed what a visionary Freddie was and his precise attention to every detail and the shear joy they all got out of creating music with coffee and wine as their reward! My fave too! Love these guys! Thanks so much for sharing!! ❤️👑
SO MUCH goes into these masterpieces that are sometimes overlooked or taken for granted! I have immeasurable respect and appreciation for these true artists after watching this.
thank you for showing this beauty...queen recording and Freddie playing the piano. wonderful. never again will be another one like this band.
Underneath the flashy facade, the perfectionist craftmanship and musicianship thrives. So nice to see them wanting the absolute control of what they wanted to output to the public.
Harumi Yamaguchi-Seki So glad they had absolute control over their songs..
The way he holds that note at 1:23 and lets it trail off is one of the greatest things ever to happen in pop or rock music.
Absolutely love this video! ❤️👑❤️ It shows the beauty of music and these 4 gentlemen were true artists at work! Freddie’s voice is like an angel singing. ❤️ You see the passion in everything he did - from the piano to background vocals to the sound equipment. Then you have Brian (guitar virtuoso), Roger (drum master, with his drumstick twirl 😊) and John (supporting on the bass like with such dynamic precision). 4 guys from different backgrounds coming together to create a legacy. It’s truly astounding!!!
Thanks for this video. Freddie, you don't know how you're missed❤
They were awesome...!!!
I’m always feeling like a champion with this song..!!!
OMG... this footage in black and white... it’s a treasure!!!
how can someone abandoned this footage for a long time? it such a historical moment you know?
Image how much footage has hit the cutting room floor before people cottoned on to the fact it all needed to be kept.
a real band getting it done kids:P
"That was a lovely feel. That’s exactly how it should be"
I said the same thing after watching this video
This is great. I just LOVE when they are working in the studio combining their humanity with their musical genius - just love it!!!
The perfect band! They play the music, they sing and record the song together 😊 no one is superior to the other! Wonderful
When the juices flow for music..... greatness makes an appearance and stamps the code of HELL YEAH 🥰🥰🥰
Beautiful! A genius at work. Feeling the music, and painting an auditory picture 💖
magical moment... Freddie and this band will live forever!
He will never be forgotten he had so much talent
The way Freddie was playing the piano, his so amazing and powerful voice ! Roger on his drums! Brian on his precious red guitar and John ? Good, smiling, cool and happy ! Am I dreaming ? Such lovely moments between them !
Freddie was obviously the consummate professional and very meticulous. He liked to play but when it was time to work, everyone needed to work dammit!!! 😆
Many favorite moments in this video but these are a few
3:18 “that was a lovely feel.” ❤️
3:22 he sounds so adorable asking for another cup of coffee and apologizing. ☺️
4:35 I love the way he sits at the sound equipment table. So cute - like a little kid. He was so humble and professional. ❤️
5:35 “listen to them darling. That’s the only we can do it.” 😏
6:25 the sound engineer turns down the volume; 6:34 Freddie turns it back up. 😂
Yes and one hell ov' a sound engineer too, he was!
To bring out the best in those four amazing musicians.
To be so patient to let them do it then help get it perfect.
Acording to freddie and roger, it was Brian the perfeccionist of the band and they usually had fights between them because of that, but freddie did come close too.
2:28 Roger Taylor with ciggie in hand while adjusting headphones and then takes a drag after finished singing AWESOME
And the way Brian stare him is hilarious
And freddie leaving like, oh i am fabulous
3:33
Roger: 1 and 3/7 sugars, please
Freddie: 3 sugars
Roger: No, 1 and 3/7 sugars
Freddie: 7 sugars
Roger: 1 AND 3/7!!!!!!! 😅😅😅
Alexis Mattison what does he mean?
I can’t understand
Estefany Leyva how much sugar he wants in his coffee. Freddie was trying to make roger put more
Shoosh ohhh thanks
It’s not Freddie’s voice, I think.
3/7th of a sugar. Nerd. Love it!
Genio Freddie Mercury compositor director, creativo, interprete, majestuoso
Bravo Freddie Mercury con Queen
Man... To be able to write like this. I can only imagine the music they would be writing today if Freddie was with us...
These guys were soooo awesome and always will be !!!
Amazing video this is first time i see this great song.this song and We Will Rock you the most famous western songs in my country.
They all knew they were something special and it couldn't last forever the power in that room at 1:05. Just beautiful. No wonder poor John Deacon became a recluse after Freddie died...
07:47 John Deacon is just laying on the couch and watching others like watching a game #LOL
He did his bit and did it well.
He's just chilling like the bassist he is
I love the way Deaky is just lying on the couch behind at 4:46 😂
Thank you for showing this. One of the best if not the best.
I wish it'll going on and on ... like a whole movie.
Love We Are The Champions even more after the clip.
You're either good at putting on a show or good at playing an instrument. Freddie's a genius on: song writing, a brilliant lyric writer, brilliant piano player (he didn't think so himself though), on top of that, the most alluring, exciting, charismatic frontman ever.
Look at the way he works, like on the stage; he's giving it 100%.
That's why Queen rocks! Love this man.
You forgot his drawing skills. He designed the band logo based on the band members' signs of the zodiac. In private, he was an art connoisseur and collector, especially for Japanese art. Yes, he was a man of many talents.
@@M-MMo You are right. What a massive talent!
Amazing of what these guys where creating as musicians. So much musical talent, attitdude and characters. It’s a cocktail of greatness.
Dedication to their work has resulted in music that is relevant to any decade.
It;s so good to see them recording. Theyre really the best! Thank you so much for posting this awesome video.
This is great thank god we have these videos to keep his menory alive they were so passionate would like to see more live concerts simply amazing
