there's no heroes without villains
They explained their fans are called villains because they are heroes and how can a hero exist without a villain. So basically they can't exist without us
There was a voting for the fandom name a while ago actually, so we chose our name. The other options were brose, b, xer, pixels and xynergy. I personally think pixels is ADORABLE, but calling myself a villain makes me feel sassy so I mean I ain't mad at all

What they’re also extremely known for is their covers! Some of my favorite is their Tomboy, Hellevator, Zombie, and Love Me Right covers! Highly recommend seeing those

I think for me what sets Xdinary Heroes different from other bands lately is because I feel a lot of bands type of music (except some like Rolling Quartz) their music are pretty leaning to soft pop rock with romantic lyrics
Xdinary Heroes, I feel they are like one of few bands whose music are leaning towards a bit more punk alternative emo type rock with hard rock influences. Also their lyrics kinda deals with societal issues like problems with Gen.Z:
Happy death Day: sarcastic comparison with birthday with getting older and two faced people in there
Test Me: conforming to society who wants to challenge them
Hair Cut: comparing cutting hair to cutting negative emotions within ourselves.
they truly are sooo talented!!! their b sides are also amazing and their covers are incredible (I would highly recommend "impossible" and "tomboy").
Xdinary Heroes are really fantastic. I love how they do their own thing. The lyrics are thought-provoking, the delivery is sassy and ironic. The MVs are so creative. They're very young and yet already so deep and mature and very contemporary. Thank you for the reaction. Glad you enjoyed, RJ!
The fandom name is Villain cuz well they are called Xdinary Heros... So Heros and Villain's lol
if you want to be totally blown away you seriously have to check out their covers , drown & impossible in particular are INCREDIBLE
Simple lore rundown: In Happy Death Day, they're playing at birthday parties and in the basement, trying to get their sound out and its the first time we see Platform (looks like bform with a flat symbol instead of a b) come into play. In Test Me, they get their chance to qualify for the Platform BotB contest but get eliminated (bc its rigged), only to hijack their way in and beat the rigged cookie cutter generic kpop winner bc the viewers love their unique sound so much. Hair Cut continues the lore, they're famous now after their BotB win and are a big headliner for Platform, who is trying to change them to be their ideal appeal to all band, but XH are tired of it and want to get back to their roots, so they lash out and trash the park and report themselves to the police in an effort to make a statement to Platform that they won't be changed to be something they're not.

I hadn't watched Hair Cut yet, so this was cool. It is weird seeing Gaon go from cotton candy hair to that black long hair. Their music has the punk feel and certainly the punk message so I like it. But the members are pretty adorable, maybe they can grow into a more punk image. JYP stylists always putting them in sweater vests is not my jam. Can't wait to listen to the entire album while I wait for it to get here.

They have live performances for all their songs as well for their "Helloworld" album. You must absolutely watch all their covers as well. Jooyeon is the one you're talking about for Strawberry Cake. He's the maknae and is the bassist. Him and Jungsu are both the main vocals. Jungsu is the one playing keyboard and sings the other high part.

And they’re so talented, I can’t, like their voices are insane especially considering how young they are

I just wanted to say that Xdinary Heros never fail to impress me as their music is so unique and that's what drew me to them via happy deathday.
I love the beat and my bias Jjoyeon is amazing on the bass, and I also love just how different and unique they are compared to othe kpop/rock bands as you don't hear anything like his in western music
Yeah, when Test Me and Strawberry Cake came out I was obsessed! My husband (who's not into K-Pop -- what's wrong with him?!?) couldn't figure things out when I was walking around the house sing-yelling Sweet Candy Liar. RJ, there is a really cool moment in Strawberry Cake that a lot of people miss because it goes by so fast. My apologies, I haven't learned their names yet. Right after the first chorus, when the multi-colored hair guy starts singing the second verse (?), WATCH the expression of his eyes. His eyes signal I'm sweet, then in the instant before the camera cuts away from him, his eyes go all evil-dead. It starts at about 1:08 in the MV, or around 17:46 in your video. You made an exclamation at that moment, but then didn't comment on what was behind that exclamation. Also, in Test Me, that guy in the train car really needs to loosen up and join that party!
You’re gonna love their personalities so much; they’re all super sweet and loving towards each other!! And they’ve also done multiple amazing English covers and also a cover of hellevator by skz

I would recommend thier b-sides and especially their song covers. My favs rn are their Hellevator cover and their Tomboy cover
Oh man!! And watching Chan's reaction to Hellavator was great!!! You could see him loving it... And the fact that XH had to be able to "PLAY" as well as "SING" this song gives you a clue as to how well this band is going to go!!!!

Every song they have evey B side is so unique I hope you hear all of them because even if not all off them click with you won't be able to deny the ingenuity. Also there is lore. They exist in kind of digital space as rebels that joined by fate when all off them in separete cases saw invitation for digital space b flat [ like the notes] for musicians and joined in the same lobby. Last thing Strawberry Cake is my favourite song they had made till now

I've only recently caught up with them too. Your reaction at the beginning of the first song - "I'm already into this" - was the same as mine, RJ 😄 All 4 of these songs are amazing. I couldn't believe that HDD was a debut song. And I really enjoyed the comments you made and your interpretations.
This group are so talented and surprising, a real breath of fresh air. I really hope that they win one of the new artist/rookie awards this year. I've finally found a 4th gen group that I can REALLY rave over 😄
Along similar lines, the female 4th gen group that stand out for me is PURPLE KISS. They are also quite a new group. Are you going to react to them soon, RJ? They have great songs & mv's, they're all great vocalists, dancers, rappers, and they have appealing personalities and such an incredible energy about them.

i'm usually not one for reaction videos but i genuinely enjoyed watching this, super great video :D glad to see xdinary heroes getting more recognition recently, especially since all of the members contribute to the song making process in all of their albums!
I actually really like the concept of Happy Death Day, I made a poem about it in middle school (inspired by the song lyrics and idea)
You should watch their lvie performances! They're great, especially the comeback showcase ones imo (that are like 100% live and not edited).
Also they only have 2 mini albums (HDD was a single) and they're both incredible.

Gun-il's name isn't "Gun the Second", it was just "il" but capitalized
Test Me was their first comeback with their first mini album, Strawberry Cake was a B-side off that album, and Haircut is off their second mini album. It just said 1st mini album on the profiles because the pictures hadn't been updated yet
XH has done a bunch of covers as well, both of western rock songs, and of their JYP seniors, such as Stray Kids and Day6, they're really good. They also actually have choreo for Test Me, for a band, it's quite impressive and I'm excited to see how they can improve in the future
Gun-il and Jun Han don't sing often since they're not very confident, but Gun-il has had some parts in some of their b-sides and covers, he has a very calming voice, and Jun Han does some adlibs, though most of the vocal work is from Jungsu and Jooyeon, and O'de and Gaon, who are rappers but also, typical of bands, great vocalists in their own rights, they're not considered lead vocalists but since no one is in the band, they basically are. They're very competent rappers though, having written original raps for some of their covers. all the members participate in lyrics and composition along with jyp producers, they came out of the gate a strong rookie, and I feel like they'll only get better

The fandom name is villain because there are no heroes without villains. A funny thing is that the entire time before the fandom name was announced, fans called themselves "Xhoes". Now I've seen some people using it as a way to describe people who've been fans since Happy Death Day
