Well i will actually go to Ravda very soon. I will be going with my grandma to a hotel. It will be very fun. I really want to see how the town/village looked like. Thanks for posting this video!
Great tour of Ravda, thanks! I'm staying there in a few weeks - it does look a little out of the way. I know there's a Lidl some way out, but are there supermarkets and shops within the center of Ravda that have all the essentials you need (basic food, water, toilet paper etc)? Also I do like exercise, so is there a proper gym with swimming pool somewhere in the Ravda/Nessebar area you can go to? Or do you need to go up towards Sunny Beach for that? Thanks for great vlog!
I am super sorry, I have never been to a gym in my life and I have no idea where they are. However, I do suggest going to a beach bar for a beer. There is a small (dirty) shop in Ravda that has some things but I would DEFINTELY walk to LIDL up to the road (they just fixed the sidewalk there and it's a nice walk) - that LIDL near the road-spinner is really great (I go there all the time). RAVDA IS AMAZING...ENJOY EVERYTHING!! (and thank you for the nice words, if you have other questions please ask).
I agree that Kamenitza cannot hold a candle to Pirinsko. The choice is between beer and piss. I enjoy your videos of smaller off-the-path streets and villages as much as I enjoy your videos of Sunny Beach in full summer swing. The good life needs both anyway …. a jaunt or a meal with Pirinsko on the High Street and a calm out door sit-down in front of a bakery/café in some tiny Bulgarian nowhere. And it’s no surprise that the management allows you to bring your moto inside because I know you can charm the spots off of a leopard and your energy is contagious! Cheers, brother!
they regularly discount the ribeye to like 13lv I think, which is when I usually buy it, compared to "fancy" butcher shops in which the meat is usually a bit more suspicious and a ribeye runs up to 30-50lv, lidl's ribeye is a damn fine deal
I agree, the LIDL steaks are FANTASTIC and a great value. Salt and pepper on a hot BBQ for just a few moments....asparagus or some roasted potatoes and you have a 5 star meal!!
??? in germany the cold beer is a little bit more expensive than the not cooled stuff. so tin bulgaria they could do the same and could refinance the power supply costs by increasing the price for cooled beer a little bit by some cents? power prices increased from 9 cent / kWh to 12 cent / kWh during the last months in bulgaria, so i understand that they want to decrease the energy expenses. but they do it the wrong way, i think.
It's a grocery store. Their fridges appear to be off (outside of the ones holding meat). I understand energy prices have gone up, a lot, my monthly EVN bill is 280Leva now and my place is pretty much a chicken coop. If they can't afford power they should not be in business (or increase the price of each beer by a few Stotinki). Janet's fridges are cold AND CLEAN and many beers are cheaper!!!

glad to hear about the fridge what not that important things will keep going slow in sunny beaches to the Bulgarian government start to get real and allow Brits and other parts of the world to travel to Bulgaria sunny beach is Open For Business UK now opened all borders for travelling services always looking at options to get into Bulgaria like I did last year if I was there right now I would probably be in the Condor for having a cold beer and a slice of cake all sat on the beach or maybe on the pier trying to catch a fish all go to Jeanette supermarket and buy one in general on TH-cam I do speak to other people that leave it in Bulgaria one or two are Russians whose businesses are not dinner very well at the moment due to situations hopefully things will improve and we can all have fun in the sun on Sunny Beach Bulgaria
You are so lucky with managment letting you keep your transport in doors it helps. The town you were in was eary, Ghost Town comes to mind.
I agree, my management company here is AWESOME and incredibly kind and helpful. I am indeed, very lucky!! (I have heard many horror stories).
