सरकार स्वयं कहती है कि वरिष्ठ नागरिकों की समस्याओं को प्राथमिकता के आधार पे सुना जायेगा, तो फिर हम वरिष्ठ लोगों की सुनवाई प्राथमिकता के आधार पर सुनवाई होनी चाहिए, ऐसा प्रयास करना चाहिए।
It is really sad that the CJI felt that the issue of the bank retirees updation is not of importance and changed the final hearing date on 20-11-2025 to a infinite date. No wonder people are losing faith in the judiciary. When the then out going CJI justice Ranjan Gogoi said to the media that corruption has crept into the judiciary, less said the better. The circular of the Hon'ble Supreme Court on listing is for all such cases. As such our Advocates can not do anything in this regard. We have no way out, but to wait. The political parties feel the Bankers are not a formidable vote bank. So no patronage from them is expected.

As you said pensioners are not politicians to afford Big ticket advocates, advocates who are also politicians, politicians have lot of money, how they got wealth - mostly by not lawful/ethical means.
