He was among so many other great tenors during the Golden Age (beside the 3 knowns, their was the likes of Aragall, Raimondi, Kraus, oh and on and on)...houses were full with these others under contract with runs (commitments) of 5-6-7 years from a present date....agents were full to commitments and unlike another time in the opera world...G Kunde was smart to enter repertoire where he knew he could be used until another time...?

I love Gregory, but I agree, he does not sound great here. His vibrato is a bit out of control here and he sounds like he's pushing it a bit. Perhaps he was under the weather??
