Hey! An audio guy here, if you listen to the scene which starts at 11:06 on headphones, you will notice ki there isn't a lot of music in the centre/ mono, and when dialogues kick in that centre space is occupied by that dialogue. This is done by reducing the mono or center signal from the song so that that space can be occupied by the dialogue (or any other element which is deemed more important, a gunshot in an atmospheric scene for example). It's a neat little trick which can be used anywhere! the audio spectrum is like a room, agar aapko koi naya saaman daalna hai to pehle se jo saman rakha hai use hatana padega 🤣Hope this analogy makes sense Great analysis KibaKibi! Actually in mersal movie atlee used dove in multiple shots to elevate the character and in most of his songs the color palette he choses is highly contrast which will please your eyes and dop Vishnu also does a great job .... Ps:dop Vishnu mostly uses red color lighting in songs and lavender...

Love the new background neon sign but it’s too bright in my opinion. It’s taking the attention away from your face. Maybe you can reduce the sign’s brightness if possible or add just a little bit of background blur!

The VFX is actually pretty on point because they probably just rolled out this footage in the trailer to show a clean and well lit overcast lighting environment. The motion blur could be slightly better, and it'll probably have another layer of composition and lighting fixes by the time of release.
