Great to see you two doing another Collab, love your work bro. BTW Gnostics aren't the 1st Christians, neither they were before Christians. The first Christians were Jewish followers of Jesus, such as the apostles Peter, John, and James, who established early Christian communities based on Jesus' teachings and the belief in His resurrection. The New Testament records show that the earliest Christian beliefs centered around Jesus as the promised Messiah and the fulfillment of Jewish prophecies. Gnostic movements appeared later, primarily in the 2nd century AD, and their beliefs conflicted with Orthodox Christian doctrines. Early church leaders like Irenaeus and Tertullian explicitly argued against Gnostic teachings, seeing them as distortions of the original Christian faith. Also according to historical evidence we have early Christian writings from figures like Irenaeus (c. 130-202 AD) in Against Heresies describe Gnostic beliefs as emerging and challenging orthodox Christianity in the 2nd century AD, after the establishment of Christianity. Irenaeus wrote specifically to refute Gnosticism, implying that it developed as a response to early Christian teachingsnostic Texts’ Dates: Key Gnostic texts, such as the Gospel of Thomas, Gospel of Philip, and other writings found in the Nag Hammadi library, are dated to the 2nd century AD or later, meaning they were written after the life of Jesus and the formation of the early Christian church. Many scholars believe these texts show Gnostic ideas evolving in response to, rather than preceding, Christian doctrines【6†sourcenfluence from Early Christianity: Gnostic cosmology and terminology often borrow from Christian themes and terminology, particularly in interpreting Jesus' role and teachings in ways that diverge from orthodox beliefs. The adaptation of Christian ideas suggests Gnosticism was reacting to or reshaping Christian concepts, rather than being a pre-Christian tradition【8†sourcecholarly Consensus**: Scholars of early Christianity, such as Bart Ehrman and Elaine Pagels, generally agree that Gnosticism developed alongside or in response to early Christianity, particularly in the 1st and 2nd centuries AD, rather than being a separate or earlier tradition【9†sourcert, historical evidence and scholarly consensus support that Gnosticism is not older than Christianity but rather developed as a distinct set of ideas and beliefs after Christianity had begun to spread. A dark and very possible theory is that since we are talking about the multiverse. Given how it works when Saitama goes back in time and zero punches Garou before he kills everyone the timeline he left where everyone is dead still exists he's simply absent from that world. Really wonder how that timeline's story will go since the strongest of the S-class, A-class, and B-class are dead. I assume the HA goes bankrupt quickly from such a catastrophic hollow victory. Especially now that there are only weak fodder heroes who can't dream of beating a dragon-level threat. On top of that, A LOT of important people died in the raid particularly Sweet Mask and that rich guy's son who funds the HA. The only good thing to come out of it is that the Neo Heroes would have their way undisputably but given the latest arc in the webcomic once the robot organization starts their plans they'll be unstoppable with so few heavy hitters.
The way I see it, there is either 1 timeline now, or there are 2. The first option is that Saitama goes back in time and the future is changed, so that future doesn't exist anymore, hence the 2 Saitamas fusing. The second being that, it is like the Dragon Ball Z time travel. The bleak future where everyone is dead and the new timeline splintered off from it. The one we are currently in. It does not explain why the Saitamas would fuse, other than to not leave future Saitama alone, it may have been seen as too dark.
We did the same damn thing with blast. Saitama is NOT god, only for the reason that the community loves pointing to the strongest characters and saying they're Saitama
Best plot twist of this anime is that 1. The evil god in Mob psycho 100 is the same in one punch man. 2. And here's the catch, Mob will appear in the end game of the series. 😁
It's possible, but it's a weak theory. Back when season 3 aired (Mob psycho 100) i believed that, Dimple in Gold mode represented the "Sun" aka Saitama, and that Sentient brocoli was representing the "darkness" aka God. Mob is too weak to even join the End game, Saitama should fight God solo.
Twin Gods: Saitama got possessed by a good God, and the other God that got stuck in the moon is the bad one. The bad god got rouge and manipulative; that's why he threw a way into prison, which is the moon.
I’ve heard of this take and really wouldn’t like that outcome. It goes against everything that Saitama is; working hard and removing his limiter through training.
@@gammafrost The human body has limits. That's why good God is trying to manipulate Saitama without him knowing to train hard and become strong to break the limiter. It's just a theory that my brain tells 😅
I hope they don't do that. The evil version of the main character is such a lazy cliché of a plot, that using that for the final villain would just be an utter disappointment imo.
If it was an evil saitama blast and his friends would not be able to hold him back at all using their powers yet they are saitama is far too broken for them to be able to do that to him
Remember when garou said "you're the only one who can use gods power without his influence" What if he's able to use it because it's his power in the first place, he's god
Actually it's really easy and barely inconvenienced. The evil Saitama could be the thing from a universe where he did not meet his friends and became so powerful that he outgrew his body. Then left his universe or timeline outside of causality. Keep watching everything from the outside. Went to a different universe in the past since he has the power to travel where he wants. Then probably for fun or someone did this to him and sealed him inside the Moon. God inside the moon play who did this?
not sure I truly believe it, but what IF saitama's body changed because his mind changed and he needed more power and in turn his psycology changed too over time and he began to think less and less like a human. Flow chart: fight>equal enemy>need more power>growth>slight psych change>lessened humanity repeat. and eventually he didn't have the same concerns as normal humans?
It was a great video, an educated discussion! We like such content Plus, Saitama may reflect its own path and choices next to GOD, one is corrupted the other is just flawed
I wrote my theory on other video but here it is: God is Saitama's spiritual self. Basically Saitama wants to remove limiters and send monsters away with one punch and God is sending those monsters to make Saitama stronger in order to set himself free. I can see parallel here. A lot of OPM is based on spirituality, God is Brahman, Saitama is Atman and he has reached god consciousness...
There is a weird goffy statement by murata lol he said that he think the end of opm will have saitama defeat god and bcz maybe god is the one who gave him his power he will lose them and start losing to everyone in one punch that's why he will be called the one punch man . its dumb AF
Also, in the anime's episode when Saintama applys to the hero association, when Saitama does the tests for the ranking, at some point in the episode the guy from the here association sayus something like ".... Its like a GOD resides in his body." At least it was subbed like that in Brazilian Portuguese.
Yo, ive been around this chanel since your old walking back from mma practice videos. Can you repost that old darkshine video where you monolouge about him being the third strongest. Obviously not true but the monologe was crazy.
It’s possible he went insane after he was pushed to his limits fighting a god and he realized he will not be able to feel the trill of a good fight so he went to another time line
When he split the timeline, he created one world where Saitama saved his friends & one where he didn't. The one that didn't goes on to become multi universal & became God. The one we are with now is not as strong but can be if he breaks his limits more and more leading into the final fight.
What if it’s like the movie “the one” Saitama is strong because “god” saitama from a different multiverse been hoping through different verses and absorbing them. All the saitamas are getting stronger and these are the last two saitamas. Also like the movie evil saitama gets trapped in a different dimension.
I dont think god is actually sealed, i think god is just a story teller who's so strong hes fking around and playing with everyone. making sht up like the cubes and the god power
That's absolutely possible Saitama stays bored because there's nobody able to go toe to toe with idk if it's a complex or not but the best opponent would be an evil Saitama that took the same road as garou instead of Saitama becoming a hero he becomes monsterfied to satisfy his boredom that would be cool 1:15
I’m sorry you’re wrong. Because “future” Genos core didn’t merge with genos. Remember both saitama is differen “level” and merge. So why Genos didn’t merge with the core. here's my theory : WE know that god created the universe, it's possible that god was saitama but he destroyed his own universe and re-created it with the limiter so someone like him would never appear again. and being alone for so long has driven him insane. there's also the theory that god is saitama where instead of wanting to become the hero, he wanted to become the protagonist. the same goal somewhat, but gods is slightly less noble and more selfish

I think there is only one Saitama in whole of the multiverse. Throughout the series we see Saitama is always looking for opponent who is equally strong has him. When Saitama time travels back and defeat Garou, future Saitama might’ve tempted to fight against past Saitama since he is looking for equally strong opponent and their fight would have destroyed not only the current universe but entire multiverse. Since there is only one Saitama in multiverse both the future and past Saitama merged together avoid destruction of multiverse. There might be multiple versions of God in multiverse but there is only Saitama.

Could it be that Saitama is based on Kintoki? The yellow outfit being a representation of "Golden Boy"; or that he's a representation of Gautama considering he's gone through enlightment and literally ascends to god-hood considering how broken he is.
Nah. Saitama is just normal. Period. He's just a hero for fun who became strong. No more, no less. In fact, that's what's been the theme of the manga from the start. @glendonsheppard5653 Maybe that's one of the reasons. And also the multiverse thing thats happening in one punch man can lead to that possibility.

There's a good chance this theory may never come. Since psychic power tends to be the main deal... it has been stablished a foil to his power

it’s the idea that everything that happens, has a cause.
like a chair can move - because I pushed it

there’s an argument for the existence of god in there.
there must be some cause that makes everything else happen, that doesn’t have a source itself (god)
One isnt cliche with his writing though.

Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand! Jesus Christ is the only way!!! REPENT!!!!!!!
All this timeline stuff got me thinking that the webcomic is also a different timeline in the whole universe of opm
So the reason that God and Saitama don’t fuse is because God is in another dimension, he’s in a completely different plane of existence is not in the third dimensional universe that’s Thomas and it is also not a third dimensional being anymore therefore he can but any other dimensional, Saitama would fuse with Saitama
I don’t think God is a variant of Saitama. I think he is his own person. If he is like Saitama in any way, it makes more sense that he was similar to Saitama at one point

this is the last fight, calling it now. (random thoery)
Mastar is Saitama

I really hope they don't go the way of timeliness, it always makes the stakes feel like they don't matter because ooop wrong timeline or oops big mistake let's go back in time
Then if Saitama is god then if there infinite timeliness then there's a universe somewhere everyone broke limiter and it just ends up so convoluted
Once again, Zhoniin, this proves that TGSmurf IS right about you.
ORRRR (hear me out) This is all a bunch of weeb nonsense?
this video is pointless since there only can be one saitama in all universes like we saw vs garou
?
I didn't like that "god" gave power to garou. Garou was already sufficient enough to fight saitama because of his own abikities, and saitama could sense garou had some good in him, and still human even as a monster, and was good enough to fight saitama for a bit.
I don’t think “god” gives people abilities per se. I think he just allows them to break through certain limits. Think of like a gate keeper allowing you through certain gates, but not giving you unrestricted access.
