HI MBMARS THANKS FOR THIS VIDEO. i LOVED YOUR NIGHT SHOTS WELL DONE. i STILL FINE IT HARD TO BELIEVE CANADIAN NATIONAL WAY DOWN SOUTH. i DEEPLY APPRECIATE YOUR VIDEOS MBMARS.
Nice shots of the CN! You’ll hear a lot of K5L’s NC P5’s P’3’s K5HL’s and K5LLA’s. Most new casts are on the smaller geeps, by there are some in gevo’s and newer emd’s. Amazing video tho! Can’t wait for the next one keep up the good work!
Oh, I also forgot to mention, CN uses a lot, ALOT of old gtw’s and ic’s. And there’s tons of foreign power, well, at least in NE Wisconsin. By there’s still a good amount other places. They still have a good amount of C40-8M’s in service, most of them have P5’s or K5H’s, the Canadian Version tho, which seems to be the best. You should come up the the CN Neenah/Fox River sub, there’s about 30 Trains a day or so on the Neenah sub and about 10 a week on the Fox River. The Neenah yard also has 4 gtw’s and a few ic’s and an eje... all still in original paint! If you move down to the Waukesha sub, on Byron hill there’s either a pair of ic ols sd40-3’s or CN sd40-2w’s for helpers. Hope to see you up here soon!
Thank so much, also for the detailed information. If I could I'd travel more, because there are so many interesting spots, but time or the lack of it is a serious issue.
@mbmars01 Thanks! It reminds me: You did not enter this next region with USA trains, Ohio, I think! At the end of your 3rd expedition to the deep south, you should have train videos in Ohio on several lines: NS Chicago Line, CSX Pemberville Subdivision, CSX Willard Subdivision, NS Sandusky District, CSX Mt. Victory Subdivision, CSX Columbus Subdivision, CSX Garret Sub, CSX Toledo Subdivision, Wheeling and Lake Erie, and Bessemer and Lake Erie. If you look out on Google Maps, you can see Ohio. Many Ohio (United States) locations to railfan: Deshler (Crossroads Park, Diamond between CSX Garret and Toledo Subdivisions) Fostoria (Iron Triangle Park, Diamond between NS Fostoria District and CSX [not sure what subdivision is]) Defiance (Control Point FC, Diamond between CSX Garret Subdivision and World's Worst Track [ND&W]) Oak Harbor (NS Chicago Line, Oak Harbor, OH has an abandoned railroad bridge) Stryker (NS Chicago Line) Berea (NS Chicago Line and CSX Cleveland Short Line and Greenwich Subdivisions) Bryan (NS Chicago Line, Amtrak Station) Bayview (NS Chicago Line, Sandusky Bay/River) Attica (Diamond in between NS Sandusky District and CSX Willard Subdivision) Marion (Diamond between NS Sandusky District and CSX Mt. Victory and Columbus Subdivisions) and Huron - Rye Beach Rd. Grade Crossing (NS Chicago Line) Will you try out those places, please?
I have a possible suggestion for a place you could make a future railfanning video at. It's called Kentucky St. in Memphis TN, where you can get CSX, BNSF, NS, and UP.
Thanks! I have contemplated railfanning Memphis for quite some time. I typically avoid big cities, because I need space and cannot really chase trains in towns, but maybe I'll go there at some time in the future.
Never understood why CN is in southern US. I know the history of how they got the tracks but it’s funny how Canada is up north, yet reaches to southern US. Great video. Can’t wait to see some more from near home though.
Yea, kinda funny, but since there's not much of a difference between the American and Canadian Class I roads it's not that surprising. I actually like that it only takes a road trip for me to see CN on their own rails.
Hello from Pennsylvania. The CN purchase of the IC was a stroke of genius, engineered of course by Hunter Harrison, who had been chief of the IC before moving to CN. That coupled with its exclusive bypass of Chicago congestion by the acquisition of the the EJ&E has given CN a unique customer advantage. HH, despite his aggressive personality and punctuated by his sudden and mysterious demise, is clearly the railroader who made greatest positive impact on NA rail industry in the last 60 years. A genius. CAS
Dang That SB Grain Train Was Lit. GT, IC, ICG, BCOL, Canadian Wheat Grain Cars. On The Northbound Grain Train There Wasn't Anything Good Railcar Wise. Lucky, We Don't Get That On NS It's All NS Grain Cars.
Yes, Jackson is the city of pot holes. I carefully navigated around the holes on Mill St and as if this wasn't enough, Hilda Dr gave me even more occasions for practicing lol.
HI MBMARS THANKS FOR THIS VIDEO. i LOVED YOUR NIGHT SHOTS WELL DONE. i STILL FINE IT HARD TO BELIEVE CANADIAN NATIONAL WAY DOWN SOUTH. i DEEPLY APPRECIATE YOUR VIDEOS MBMARS.
Thank you! CN is really active in this area. There’ll be another CN video soon, hopefully.

mbmars01 aw man, that sucks. Ok, keep up the good work!
Happy Weekend! 🌜
Thanks. Enjoy your weekend, too!
Nice train action! Thumb up!
Thank you!
I now have a new appreciation for this part of the country !!!!
Yeah, it's really nice out there. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip - despite the heavy rain.
Great video, nice catches.
Cool, thank you.
Nice catches, i love to hear those wheels singing.when you hear that the train is rolling along pretty good!
Thanks! I sure know what you mean. Love that sound, too.
recently ground rail?
Nice GECX Catches And the C40-8M
There was no Ex-BCOL unit.
@@halfwick7560 what do you mean there is no bcol unit
@@bradley.reim22 The only repainted Ex-BCOL C40-8CM units are 4618 and 4621 and they weren't in the video.
I really enjoyed your video I wish you success my friend God bless you.
Cool, thanks! Same to you!
I'll be looking forward to watching your next video also. Excellent video.
Very good! There's some neat stuff to appear in future videos. They won't disappoint you :)
Nice long manifests in the deep south on CN. Nice to see one of my home roads thriving in the Southern part of the U.S. Awesome video, Thanks!
Yea, it must be interesting for you to watch CN working in the Deep South. Good you like the video!
Cn is fantastic railroad ever
I always like to see CN engines wherever they show up.
Hello mbmars this is wyatt this Sunday i saw my first Canadian pacific on the abbeville subdivision
That’s awesome! I didn’t have time to go out and catch him, unfortunately.
While I’m watching this video I’m track side on the CN Strathroy sub with a green board lol, nice vid
Lol, cool. Thanks and enjoy your ride!
Excellent.
Thx!
Great video!
Good you like it!
Great audio too, sounds like the Loram grinder has been thru there recently.
Good video you put up I enjoyed watching thanks for posting
I'm happy you enjoyed it! You're welcome.
Great video
Thank you!
Look me up the next time you're in the area. I use the CN Mc Comb sub. Crystal Springs and Brookhaven, Ms are perfect spots for great video.
Alright, thanks for letting me know.
Great video bro.
Thank ya!
@mbmars01 A red, white, and black stripe on a GECX? That's nice!
I suppose they added a CN air condition box. I also found this looked funny.
Great video. Cool shots. You should go up to Pennsylvania and railfan up there. Because there are some good spots to railfan up their.
No doubt; this would be interesting, but at this time I like to explore the western roads. I have NS and CSX at my fingertips here in Georgia.
@mbmars01. I understand. Thank you.
The video i also have GECX 7375 from April 7 from Shelton along UP. The video is set at 9pm CST on June 2. Otherwise, excellent video.
Nice.
Great catches! I don't think you got too excited when seeing a CSX GEVO leading a CN train as you've seen a high amount of those.
Thanks! Haha, you certainly can imagine how upset I was to see CSX leading this train and also all those ex-CSX GECX units on this line.
Great video. Cool shots. Have you seen any of the Ns heritage units around Atlanta lately there's been a lot of them?
Thanks. No I haven't been looking out for these units lately, but some come by Atlanta regularly.

Will you try out those places, please?
There are hundreds of lines that I'd like to visit, but time is a limiting factor. Southern destinations are simply closer to where I live.
Yeah. Draper Taper in the south
Yep.

I hit the Like button too.
Very good, I appreciate it.
8:21 203 before the operation life saver paint
that is a small but very bold CN logo on CN 5835 xGTW
Lol, indeed.
@mbmars01 The SD75I has an isolated cab. They are similar to F59PHI's, right?
I stay by this yard there are so many different trains that go bye
There are no AC44CW's in CN's fleet. CN #2631 (C44-9W) is the correction. The only Canadian railroad which has AC44CW's is CP.
You're right.
2:34 I've been wondering what makes that noise
DJ Cars Gamer I believe the rail grinder was by there recently
Yeah he was moving slow because a csx grain train was leaving the feed mill
Were you back in athes this week
CN Has 0 AC44CW, 2631 is a C44-9W
Yep, thanks.
Is this big cn route
Not really "big" - maybe 20-25 trains in 24 hours.
So is bcrail cp amazing
Absolutely!
It was interesting, for sure. That's why I let it roll and cut less.
Hah, down my neck of the woods. Hope you didn't wreck your car on Mill street along Jackson yard, pot holes there are ridiculous
Yes, Jackson is the city of pot holes. I carefully navigated around the holes on Mill St and as if this wasn't enough, Hilda Dr gave me even more occasions for practicing lol.
@@mbmars01 😂😂 if you're still in the area, stop at Sal&Mookies to eat, it's in Fondren next to JSU, good food
Ah thanks, but I'm already back in Georgia. Maybe next time :)
