How fitting that this run STARTED and ENDED with the Big East 6th Man of the Year HASSAN DIARRA...The unsung hero of this squad, the Shabazz Napier to Newton's Kemba Walker...The Ryan Boatwright to Newton's Shabazz Napier...UConn has historically been at their best when they have not one but two ELITE guards, and this team is no different!!

i’ve never seen a team so scared of UConn until Illinois. this is just unreal. and both teams had an awful first half of shooting
Didn’t look scared. Went straight at Clingan. Their shots didn’t fall.
@@poopoomangionethey stood around for 5 minutes when the quarter started and once the first half ended, no rotation, bad shooting, and bad defense while UConn was missing nearly everything.
@@GoatedAtNFS They stand around like that every game. They largely just hunt for matchups and play 1 on 1 ball. Believe me, they didn’t look scared. Seemed out of sorts though and cold shooting on top of UConn’s great defense.

I’m originally from North Jersey and remember Bob sr’s teams from the early days @ St. Anthony. This team reminds me of his 1989 team that won the National title. I believe they played 6 or 7 top 20 teams and beat everyone of them like a drum. Danny learned from the best…
Looks like UConn drank Michael Jordan's secret sauce during halftime. This was one of the biggest all time dismantlings in a basketball game.

@@matthewmorse3307 you must be drinking the tourney selection committee Kool Aid. 2 others that are "okay"? So making it to the Sweet 16 is only "okay"? Had the selection clowns actually taken 5-6 Big East teams like they should have, then I can almost guarantee 4 would have been in the Sweet 16. Providence, St. John's, and Seton Hall were robbed this year. Honestly both the Big East and the ACC were robbed this year. Marquette and especially Creighton could have been Final 4 squads. And Big East teams are pretty much the only teams that have been able to beat UConn the past couple of years. Your comment was a misinformative throwaway. For shame!
