Parking service mode: Engine off Hold parking brake button down for 2 secs. Release. Hold gas pedal down for 2 secs then release. Ignition on and off within 2 secs. Voila. Brake service mode displayed on dashboard... No need to remove the brake solenoid. Work smart, not hard...BTW remove only one bolt off caliper and slide it up or down...

@Em C thn u dont need to manually compress the caliper with the special tool right? Just take the whole thing off

Would this be the same on a 2018? Dealership wants to charge 2100 for a damn brake job

Should you leave the emergency parking brake engaged before doing this or should you disarm it

Dude.. wtf are you doing? The car has a maintance mode which will disengage the brake until you turn it off. It only take a few seconds in your ict menu. You should not be giving advice. Brutal!

I'm just about to do this but I read about someone who couldn't get the service mode trick (pressing the P-brake button and accelerator etc.) to work so it could be good with a purely mechanical backup procedure.
