Thank you so much. This is extremely useful. You are clearly very good at Octave and signal processing, and I am mindful that you are new at teaching online. This was great, but would have been much easier to follow if there wasn't the music. Also, thank you for posting the code in a way that is easier to read, but it is no longer there.
