Hey Clique, I’d love to see you expand on this by putting the top 15 players in each of the last 30 draft classes on a team together. Start with them all in rookie form, and go a few years to see what draft class is truly the best. Also, feel free to replace 2000 with 1984, for obvious reasons.

2K gets a ton of gushy love, because the closest comparison is Madden. And Madden is such an unmitigated shit show that 2K looks good by comparison.
But they're another company that hasn't dramatically improved or FIXED THEIR GAMEPLAY in about a decade. All the improvements are centered around getting people to spend more money. Or are purely graphics-based, to sell a better LOOKING product that fails to function.

Reason LaMelo, Giannis and Wenbanyama are getting left out is that you added a bunch of really good players, but probably didn't lift the salary cap or mess with the salary sliders. Should probably raise the initial settings a little, or bump inflation up to like 100 so you don't have 90 overall players signing for the minimum.
Madden does that shit too on sim. Drives me crazy every time Kareem Hunt is playing on a 1 year, $1.15M contract in year two of a franchise.
