In the Round, Union, and last night's recital at the Tupelo Theater: YesSonatas, a pastiche of everything Yes, on the Steinway Grand. Rick Wakeman is more than the greatest keyboardist I have ever seen with my own eyes. He's a musical mystic, or a buddha, unique and self-contained. Rick Wakeman's music breaks my heart, but only in a good way. His final tour is forever etched in my memory.
Starship Trooper's Wurm solo with Adam Wakeman in keytar (like in 2000-2001), and the totally unexpected (for me) participation of a female choir. Rick does keytar at the end with Adam but wait... the choir girls and boy are in Rick's keyboards doing chords while Hayley Anderson (edit, it's not her) does bass pedals?? Now THAT's a jam!!! Caught me offguard
Did he ever pick up the RICKENBACKER BASS? The only guitar Chris Squire ever played? He left it to sit, and wilt in the spotlights. Never mind he's a lefty....
Considering the amount of boozing he did he is still a icon of a keyboard player and a fantastic sense of humour sadly when you see his friends like Jon lord, Keith Emerson,Richard wright who are bo longer with us Rick always pays homage to their legacy , keep tickling those ivories mate your a legend
He never did like banging in his ears or crashing cymbals,I told him use earplugs, the answer was how the would I hear what everyone is playing I replied if you can do it with your eyes closed then hearing as no bother 😂
What a sad sad night, for my Rickenbacker Bass. Sitting there, lonesome, lefty Red sunburst, having to endure this awesome sonic (sad) recreation of Steve Howe's crescendo... Perhaps that was Chris Squire's onstage Homage. Not Chris's tombstone, he was right handed. Rick Wakeman the MILKING IT TOUR!
How happy I am to see Rick Wakeman still in the world. What a treasure.

Lead singer was Molly Marriott, daughter of Steve.
@@iaindouglas6861 Knew later. She is good
Lee Pomeroy on bass!
He shouldn’t let the singer touch his gear though 😂

Warm greetings from the Special Territory of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Hello Rick.
Salamat pagi from California!
Saw Rick back in the day at Wembley for the myths tour. For an encore performed the entire Journey album. What a legend
Excellent and moving!! 🎹🎶
Rick, you're a gem!
It was such a great night. Thank you Rick!
This is what music is all about... FUN!!!!

I spent an afternoon boozing with him, we had such a laugh. When he gave up drinking he became a grumpy old man.
AWBH are all still, alive. One collaboration please
BRAVO!! ROCK ON!!!!
Love Wakeman and have enjoyed every time I have seen him - but it's well past time to lose the cape. His family should have intervened years ago.
Such an encore ❤
RIck Wakeman is the only true Caped Crusader.
Loved that!
Love this!
Sad to see our rock icons running out of dosh
Oh my is that young adam or ollie on key-tar?
It’s Adam
Wooo hoo!!! Marvelous Rick!!!
A magical night 🤘😊😎
SWEET 💯
I've never seen a drummer behind the glasses. 😮 Why?
Really ? It happens a lot now.
I saw them in Liverpool last night absolutely amazing thanks for the upload
yes me too -the encore was great!
I'll be seeing him tomorrow at Symphony Hall Birmingham.
✌🏽🎸🎹
Yes: Starship Trooper - Würm
Why is the drummer in an isolation wing?
I expect it’s so as Rick gets a full band mix into his monitors, rather than hearing the acoustic drum kit over riding that.

Dragged on and on and on and on....

Jesus wept is it an OAP day out ?
This is a shame
Painting by numbers Yes, zero presence.
