- En hommage à la chanteuse Lhasa disparue le 1er janvier 2010, nous vous proposons de revivre quelques moments passés en sa compagnie en 2004, lors de son passage sur la scène parisienne du Grand Rex. Ici elle y interprète la chanson 'Con toda Palabra' et évoque en interview son enfance et l'histoire de sa famille marquée par le voyage.

RIP jolie Lhasa..... Je me souviens de ce concert en 2004 au Sébastopol de Lille.... Il pleuvait, et j'étais donc seul à t'attendre à l'entrée (sortie) des artistes.... j'ai eu droit à une bise! Je me souviens surtout que tu étais toute petite, malgré cette prestance sur scène, et cette voix qui pouvait tellement changer entre grave et aigu...... merci pour ce souvenir, Lhasa.......
Je ne crois pas en dieu mais crois moi, je pense souvent à cette merveilleuse soirée de 2004..

Thank you dear Lhasa! May you rest in peace! You prove that music has no borders. I discovered the Middle East when I came to do my Erasmus year at the American University of Beirut in Lebanon. What an unforgettable experience! The culture, the people, the arts, the food and their beautiful language! And of course I got to discover Fairouz, the ‘immortal and monumental diva’ not only for Lebanon but the entire Arab world! That was a true revelation! Thank you, Lhasa!

Her voice was the soundtrack to many dinners and parties and later, in travels, her voice seemed to accompany me through the continents and from cafe to cafe where I kept hearing it rising up out of the noise and chatter...
The beautiful sound of Lhasa is the greatest antidote to the soul-less artificiality of today.

J'ai 22 ans et elle m'a suivie toute ma vie, elle est éternelle à mes yeux et je la ferais vivre aussi longtemps que je vivrais! Aujourd'hui il est rare de retrouver des artistes aussi talentueux et qui nous font ressortir autant d'émotion.. Sa justesse et sa sensibilité nous donnent beaucoup de force, ces chansons sont vraiment belles

At twelve in '72 I only new the meaning of the title of the song 'Child in Time' but after learning English in the eighties and still keep listening to it the music had the same effect on me like goosebumps etc...understanding the words for me only added an extra layer of appreciation but the effects of the music on me didnt change, it is true for many other superb songs like 'Your Song' or 'You Better Move On' or
