You Need a tank lift bro ;). Would look so cool with that dragbar and relocate the speedometer on the side. Thats what I would do next

very good looking bike, is my first choice 2021 hd 1200cc model 48,when trading my beginner honda rebel 500, my second choice which i am not sure about do to much beafier bike would be the 1800cc 2021 hd softail slim, but i fear it might be too much bike for a newbie, and a short one at that, i'm only 5'4"

Awesome !!!! In Korea , Harley cost twice as much as they do in the State. I am 51 yrs old and about to buy one of those 2018 Forty eight for the first time. My wife said she would kick me out if I buy ones she said it's too dangerous . Please advise me if Forty one is good for the new beginner . Cheers from S.Korea
Hello Avonleigh Hotel, Sportster 48 is considered for a beginner but Harley Davidson also have Iron 883 so the engine is a little bit smaller, only 883cc instead of 1200cc for Sporster 48. This bike is a lot of fun to ride, lots of power for such as a small bike. I am sure your wife would be okay once you take her riding with you LOL.

I just bought a 2018 Sportster 48. It's not my first motorcycle, but it's my first bike with forward foot controls. The 48 is VERY easy to ride, with it's low seat height, I can plant both feet on the ground being 5'8''. The 48 is more comfortable for me than my Triumph Bonneville, which had foot controls directly below me and a higher seat height.
I love mine, hope you can talk your wife into letting you have a 48! I'd say the 48 is not necessarily a beginner bike, but good for low experienced riders or advanced riders. My idea of a beginner bike is something with about 250cc's, but that's just my opinion...

I have a stock 2018 Sportster 48 and yours looks nice! What tuner is installed for the exhaust pipes and air intake?
I am using electronicjetkit.com/Cruiser/default.asp so far works great!

Did you have any issues with the exhaust and o2 sensor? I was told by hd that they won't fit mine due to the 18mm o2 sensor not fitting.
Hi Holly Wood, that's a great question. HD dealer actually installed mine and they never mentioned about 02 sensor not fitting. They may have modified that at the dealer. Thanks for your question, please subscribe.

How did you get the front turn signals AND the mirrors to fit on the 48 😭
Those two are actually the default setup from HD
@@INDYINDOCHANNEL I am aware of that. But when I installed my drag bars my turn signals and mirrors could not fit. I had to remove the mirrors OR the turn signals
