Adam, I bought myself a ProStitcher Lite for my Simply Sixteen for Christmas. Being able to watch and learn from your tutorials has been a wonderful experience. Your teaching style is perfect. I appreciate your knowledge. Thank you.
Karen so glad I can help. The BIG difference between Lite and regular is with PS Lite, you ALWAYS HAVE TO HAVE A FRAME SPACE. It’s a box that represents where your machine can move and stitch. Your design (the portion that you are about to stitch) and your crosshairs have to be inside the frame to work. It will tell you when you are out of frame. Make the frame much larger than your quilt, remember it just shows where your machine can move, so it can be larger with no issues. MAKE IT LARGER! Happy quilting and remember, it’s just a quilt.
I love your style of teaching! I just had Prostitcher installed a few days ago & my brain went blank today. This has been a great tutorial! Thank you Adam ❤️❤️😘😘
Thank you Adam for this video. I just had ProStitcher installed 3 days ago and whenever I get near it my mind goes completely blank!! Love all your videos!
I've had my Amara with PS for 4 months and have watched countless videos and taken many classes. By following your method in this video I was finally able to successfully quilt a quilt with Edge 2 Edge method. THANK YOU so much!!
Hi Adam, your videos are really helpful! I am following the E2E instructions and on saving the design space, under the save tab I only have selected. I don’t have design space that pops up. 🤔 Now I only have pro stitcher lite but I read somewhere that you could still save the design space in lite.
Hi Just found you today from a mention on FB. Best thing I learned was to increase my speed. I went from 42 to 80 and Oh.my.word!!! Thank you, more quilting in less time
Elaine, people are going to start calling you speed racer. I love the Opti-Stitch on the Handi Quilter machines. No more worrying that you might be going to fast, the computer keeps it a the right speed for the design. Thanks for watching!
Please send all raise requisitions to : Attn: Handi Quilter AHAHAHHAA JK. Thank you so much for the kind words. I really do it because I love it. Now if you want to email them and tell them what you told me, I won't stop you.
Oh my gosh I’m so excited! I bought a baby lock long arm and pro stitcher. I have watched more videos than I can count and still confused. I have been watching YOUR VIDEOS ONE AFTER ANOTHER AND I GET IT. YOU ARE MY HERO! Thank you!,,,
Your video was wonderful Adam! I just got my Amara and Prostitcher a few weeks ago and I am new to LAQ. Thank you for taking the time to explain everything so well! I feel a little more confident now!
Hi Adam, I have had my machine for quiet awhile. I have watched so many video's I should be an expert with it but no I am not. When I get to my machine everything that I watch goes out the window. I have found how you do it a bit better to understand and I thank you for that. I have a quilt on my machine so tomorrow I will have you next to me showing me how to do this. I didn't even know about the speed adjustment so that is another thing I will have to go find as well. I do have an Avante so not sure if the speed will be in the same position. Will have to go and see if you have a video on how to advance , I hope you do. Cheers
I’m so glad I found your page. My Pro Stitcher was just updated to Premium and I was so lost, but now I feel I have a much better grasp on the program. You’re an excellent teacher.
Thanks Laura, I remember when I upgraded to Premium...I was lost. Once I realized how it was set up, it's so much easier now. I love Pro-Stitcher listens to the consumer to make things better.
Oh no Vickie, I'm so sorry. That is the worst. I am always telling people, even though you might think it's up, always take a quick look to make sure. It only has to happen once or twice.
Jus to let you know I just recently found your sight and love it. You are very informative and nice to watch. Could you do a video on how to trouble shoot when your thread just breaks during quilting. I know sometimes it is because your need needs to be at the 6:25 or so position. I just recently has had terrible trouble with my thread breaking doing FMQ on my HQ longarm simple sixteen and had a heck of a time finding info on how to find the problem or problems. Thank you.
Most of the time, the thread breaks because the tension is too tight. You shouldn't have to turn your needle if the timing is correct. That more helps with shredding. Some things I do when I'm having issues. Rethread everything Change the needle (confirming it's the correct size for the thread) If tension feels a little tight, will loosen my bobbin (only if using the drop test). I use the Towa and know my bobbins are always correct but I will take the bobbin out and put it back in and retest it. Might add a 1/2 drop of oil It usually starts working after these steps.
Hi Adam, I am from Germany, the owner of an Amara and PS. In Germany we don‘t have much support in managing the PS and I am looking for an advice to avoid designs/patterns that sew back the already sewn quilting lines. Is it possible to simulate a design with the PS without sewing and did you mention this in one of your tutorials? Thank you for any answer, Carolin
I don’t have prostitcher yet (next week, though 😁) but I have watched many of Adam’s videos (and others) and yes, you can watch it simulate the stitching pattern, without actually sewing it. Hope this helps. 🌷
How long have you had your Avante? I am assuming the age is the reason you have not updated and switched to Premium. I was a hold out for a long time but it has so much more to offer than Standard.
@@adamsewfun. I agree; however, $1500 upgrade & new tablet, etc. is not justified with quilting I do for myself, family & friends. Thanks for your e-mail. You are a great inspiration to me! Annandale, Minnesota
Hi Adam, silly question but did you ever channel lock down the sides? If so, why did you change to Versa tool method? New to this and I really prefer your training style. Thanks so much?😘
Adam, I’m loving your videos. However after following everything down to the run button, the tab was not highlighted because no framespace was created. Please help. Thanks
Adam, I followed your steps here step by step but when I went to quilt, it stitched a line straight down the left side and hit the bar. I didn’t add any lines. When I I zoom I do see a straight line going down the left side and below the bottom and there is one running horizontal at the bottom. Do you know what may have happened or how I get rid of those extra lines???? Thanks in advance
I am setting up an e2e, actually an e2e between borders. I have the 537 version on my machine. The area line at the top is wonky and when I increase the height of the area, it distorts the top area line so it no longer matches the seam. The area also moves, top and bottom.
I'm not sure I am following what you are saying. If you create the area with multi-point, you shouldn't have to change the height of the area, because it's in the correct place.
I don’t have one but to set it up, you would just add a second row. Set up the number of horizontal repeats you want, then add 1 vertical repeat and you would have 2 rows.
If you have Pro-Stitcher there is a playlist called Paying in Pro-Stitcher, I would start there. Then maybe try an E2E with the playlist Quilting E2E with Pro-Stitcher. That one takes you ever step from loading the frame with the burrito method, to quilting the last row.
Well butter my butt and call me biscuit... this was AMAZING! Just learned cropping this weekend and you made it so easy. It has taken me months to get the nerve to try. Do you have a tutorial on loading a design purchased online? Found some great designs on Urban Elementz but trying to do edge to edge is different.. can you help
Hey Tracy, thanks for watching. I talk about putting a design onto a stick in the A Little More with Pro-Stitcher Catalog video. You would just put that downloaded design onto a USB and put the USB into your machine to have access.
@@adamsewfun. yes i have put the designs on a usb stick but wanting to put them into a continuous line they are a bit different. So there will be wrapping and a few more steps but when you showed the “resizing” and cropping that was genious. But figured you will make it simpler. Thanks so much, found your tutorials last night and will be binge watching the rest this morning then firing up my Simply Sixteen..😃
Hey Adam, thanks for the great videos! I’m having an issue with an e2e design. I set up the first row, baselines it and when I touch p2p the line that connects each repeat disappears. Your thoughts as to why this is happening?
Hi Laura, I'm not sure I follow what you are asking. In the video, right after the 8 minute mark, I set up the E2E. When I hit fill, the designs are loaded but they are not connected. I have to press P2P to get them to connect. At that time, the tiny jumps that are connecting the start and stops disappear and we get a black square. Is that the dashed line you are talking about? If so, the black square indicates that the start and stop points are right on top of each other and the design will stitch out in one continuous motion. If that was not what you were asking about, will you shoot me an email and I will try to solve your problem. Thanks
Adam Sew Fun thank for getting back to me. They we not the issue but when I went back to the design the next day it worked fine. Guess my PSP just needed a break! 😉
Can’t tell you what might be wrong without seeing what you are doing. You have to be in the Pro-Stitcher Tab and Quilt in the ribbon for run to be activated though.
I never have it do that because my rows are usually too big to fit two passes in them. You would have to make a row, copy it, line it up and then save the first two together before setting up your repeats down.

Just refreshing my mind - not quilted in a while. I noticed that you stitch at 10 stitches per inch!
Great tutorial, thank you!

I just had my Prostitcher installed yesterday and used your video to get me going! Thank you so much!!
I love your videos Adam! Your teaching is spot on and so easy to understand!! I just made some straps for my gallery frame clamps! ❤
Thank you Adam for this video. I just had ProStitcher installed 3 days ago and whenever I get near it my mind goes completely blank!! Love all your videos!

Can you come to Canada for private lessons??🤣🤣🤣🤣

I forgot I said that LOL I do forgot A LOT.

The PS Lite cannot save workspaces or areas. In that case, just save selected. Just super important to change the name in that case.
Thank you!

Mine requires upgrading, is there a cost involved?
Just completed my first E2E in Pro Stitcher and thanks to your class and video, it came out great! Thank you!
So glad to hear that.
I learned the hard way to check that needle up everytime. Tore a big hole in my quilt. Had to take it off, take out the piece and replace.

This video was created 2 years before PS Lite was released, you can follow all the steps, you just need to create your frame space before or after.

How do you setup my quilting area/ safe area for my throat space so I don't hit my bars while quilting a design?
What machine are you using?
I don’t get it. I follow your instructions then go to pro stitcher but the run button is not activate. What am I doing wrong.?
Can’t tell you what might be wrong without seeing what you are doing. You have to be in the Pro-Stitcher Tab and Quilt in the ribbon for run to be activated though.
I noticed you didn’t mirror every other row so the machine stitches each direction. I am trying to figure out how to do this.
I never have it do that because my rows are usually too big to fit two passes in them. You would have to make a row, copy it, line it up and then save the first two together before setting up your repeats down.
Please please help me set up my hardware to my king kilter 2 frame and robotics, I have had it a month now and i think i have the wrong parts?
Not sure what you mean but also, this would be the job of your retailer. Did you reach out to them? I wouldn't be able to even get you parts.
Will the prostitcher work on a gamble
