THIS IS WHAT BREAKING REALLY IS. - a lot of people don't realize that even though breakin has become more popular through media giving more people access to studio space, when your forced to break in stinky basements, school hallways, the street, that is where the REAL CREATIVITY and ORIGINALITY is born ~
It makes me sad how fulll of lies our dance has become,i miss its purity too i started in 97-98 and its really changed alot.thanks for reminding me why its still worth it
If I could dance like anyone it would be Dyzee. He's creative, unique, original and probably a very genuine guy in real life with an intellectual head screwed on. No Clichés needed, the video speaks for itself. Nice too see the mentality still remains even though i'm only a bboy of 3 years and have much to learn. Peace.
originality reigns supreme, man dyzee i remember msging you back in 2015 on facebook got so stoked that you actually responded to my question. any ways i wish i came up and said hi at lords of the floor. i just figured that wouldn't be the last time i got to see you. big fan you and puzzle really helped influenced how i bboy fr foot work and originality. i got a foot work battle this weekend I'm going to make sure to have fun and be me.
At the same time I am inspired I am nostalgic. I am completely amazed at the level of creativity here and how you have managed to make connections in your artwork. I only wish there was a feel and an environment for this kind of mentality to breed as i like how artistic this is.
I feel kind of blessed at this point, I'm 2 years deep and I'm from a city where I'm part of the last crew left and I'm the son of an old skooler and we are just lookin 2 our neighbourin city 2 knock them off as such and we're just constantly training to b distinguished from them and look unique, complete innocence and interestingly I'm the only guy in both cities messin with origami threading thanks to see you dyzee peace and respect
1998 was just about when I was starting out. I remember me and me crew were always talking about how crazy and original your style was. Surprisingly, one day after school, you dropped by to break with us. I'll never forget. I even remember that notebook filled with moves that you carried with you. I can't believe that was over 13 years ago.
Wow, you know i remember you saying that Gizmo was one of your biggest influences, and I fully see it in this video. I fully see Gizmo in almost all of what you did in this video and i must say its incredibly impressive. you've completely made your style form it and evolved so sooo much, its really a wonderful site to see. Bravo man, keep doing your thing Dyzee :)
Hey Dyzee, I remembered you and started looking up clips of you here on TH-cam. Nice footage! I wonder if you still remember me. I'm Hugo / Bboy Force, that guy who sent you a bunch of good songs on MSN, and we had some lengthy online convos about theory and flow concepts. We've met at Scarborough Town Center and Sherbourne practices several times. You really are the most memorable bboy from here. I hope things are going well for you in Korea!
new bboys need to see this kind of foot work its not all about power.style control transition direction change flow and fun mean just as much as an airflare.ever young guy a talk to wants to learn how to airflare and i always tell them work on your 6step 1st and windmill next then after maybe theyll be ready if they havnt given up.
yeah thats hot. i wish i documented my life starting tattoos.i went from scratching to art but toook me about 10 years to really get it. but nothing like the beginning..those were the days. ahhhhhhhhhhh.nice job.ur gonna make me cry lol...nice job dyzee keep it up.
Have to say that Dyzee is made the un-crowned g.o.a.t rember since clips of him around 2000 and i was just blown out of my head. seeing this today i'm just like, God Damn!
I feel like I'm still in that world now. Never really wanted to win, just wanted to bboy cuz it was a hell of a good time. Never concerned with getting the craziest power combo or blow up. Creating moves and Footwork for me all day, cuz it's what pleases me the most. True inspiration Dyzee! Or Kuya Karl xD
Man. Ur mah inspiration of style and threading man, you the best and you were from toronto before and i was at saskatchewan we pretty much close XD. and hey im filipino too. i hope will meet sometimes. PEACE yoo
powerful ----->This video captures the mentality I had, when we were innocent, before my name spread across the world, before having to win over judges, before caring what other people think
Really wonderful footage, and it's clear that you've kept true to your style, so I'm not really sure if the pre-fame stuff matters. You've got nothing to prove and even a "famous" bboy ain't that famous. It's not like you're Tom Brady or Tiger Woods, and even if you were that famous, bboys still go to jams and hang out. I'm pretty sure you'll always be one of us, except that you had more talent and worked harder. Respect.
Wow dyzee why werent you in bc one in 2004 im pretty sure you could have won it all yourself with just your amazing creative orginal footwork that you have...
@dyzeesupernaturalzzz Ahh very interesting!! i guess great minds think alike then huh, you crazy filipinos you XD hehe, i started breaking around this time, but never even knew who you were. your name was a myth in my area as well.

Wow I love this style !!!
Did you keep this style today or did it change ?
Have to say that Dyzee is made the un-crowned g.o.a.t rember since clips of him around 2000 and i was just blown out of my head. seeing this today i'm just like, God Damn!
Looks like a lot of megas inspired moves. Anyway this is dope how dyzee showed originality by putting his spin on the moves. Respect

Me and Megas were partners when he was in Supernaturalz before he joined Boogie Brats, so of course we were inspired by each other.
dyzee has been original since day 1
What i don't understand is, why we don't see foot work in that level.
Interesting.
And Dyzee amazing as usual :D

*Like if you read the description before you watch the video, i certainley did.
Bboys are awesome
