Believe it or not we didn't even come up with that until right when we about to walk up on stage. Half the couch didn't even know it was going to happen. Glad it went well
That mirror effect was actually a really clever utilization of NES graphics. If only it had been in a better game.

This took me days,weeks,months to remember and find Hahahahahaha i can finally settle the score from my childhood
I got this game for Christmas from my next door neighbors. I guess it was 1989. They were elderly and I can only assume some sales person at Toys R Us unloaded this game on them to get it off the shelves. I never finished the game.

Can anyone explain to me what the hell happens with his health?
There is actually xp in this game (blue bar). As I kill enemies the xp goes up and increase my max health (yellow bar). I can also get armor upgrades that double my health as well.
This game looks a lot like Sword Master. Is this somehow related to that game?
It actually is. Its made by the same company. Sword Master was more or less another attempt at making the game, could call it a sequel.
Is castle of dragons, its means the castle is made of dragons
Seems eerily similiar to Sword Master on the NES, just much worse
Same dev team made Sword Master shortly after this (I think they are a year apart) and yeah. Sword Master is much better.
