I'm so glad to see them still running and pampered!❤️❤️❤️ my 1st car was a 1978 dodge colt (lancer😋) Filipino sa puso ko din❤️ unfortunately my Lancer was totaled by a reckless man who went sped through a stop sign😭😭keep going lancers!🥳🥳
The Guru of Old Lancers. I learned a lot about old school lancers from him. His inputs and ideas helped me in building my Lancer Box Type. This is a great video. I love it. :)
that car is fast as fuck. Phil is a friend and one time we convoyed to a Sushi Run with me driving an EG hatch with a B18 Type R engine. Needless to say, I chased that car. All I saw of Phil's Lancer was its tail light, several cars away from me, whilst we were headed to Magallanes.
Deym... My passion for old school cars started with erpat's 77 lancer all stock 1400cc "Saturn" (Satorn, as immortalized by your suking mekaniko, haha) 😁😁😁 chain type engine 4spd trans. At 100kph nasa 4k rpm na ata ang revs hahaha! But those were truly fun times 👍👍👍
You mentioned 1400, was the original engine the Neptune 1.4? Growing up in the 80s i remember being amazed at how smooth this engine runs and how rev happy it seemed. If memory serves, it made around 65 hp, just as much as a 1.6 liter 12RM. All this without the OHC on the Saturn.
The engine originally was a 1.4L timing belt driven Saturn engine. Different from a Neptune since it's OHC and cross flow. We did not get Neptune engines in the Philippines. The pistons from a 1.6L Saturn are an easy upgrade, just needed to bore out the block.
Thank you so much! it was an honor to work with you guys. The video turn out so nice it still feels unreal watching it!
