  • Here is a video about my training days with Indian Army Special Forces about Unarmed Combat and Chinese Martial Art. I also had the fortune to be a part of Indo- China Hand-in-Hand Joint military training as a civilian.

For example in wushu, Uchit Sharma, Rajani Deuri , these people are internationally acknowledged in martial arts community. If you are considering mixed martial arts, then you should know that it's a business which requires investments to provide an intentional platform. In case of Commandos , unarmed training is just a 1% of their training. Developing survival skills and jungle warfare is their major objective.

      Look as a person who has trained in martial arts and krav maga I can say that krav maga in India is really watered down. They teach techniques where the opponent has to react exactly the same way you have trained.
      Then I started watching TH-cam videos and learnt what actually works in the street. Most of the fancy martial arts are very hard to work in real life. Trust me this is from personal experience.
      Stick to basic but VERY EFFECTIVE STRIKES
      ELBOW, HEADBUTT, KNEES, UPWARD ELBOW, THROAT STRIKE, PALM STRIKE(never punch in a street fight because the chances of getting your knuckles busted are really high) and most of all BE AWARE.

      @@shivam30201 Look bjj is also good as well as krav maga. I have not trained in bjj but I have trained in krav maga and I can say that in India it is really watered down.
      Now you say bjj guy will beat krav maga guy. I DISAGREE WITH THIS because if they both fight on the street krav maga you can strike the vital points. In bjj it is juts grappling without even striking.
      Now krav maga in India is really fucked up. You have to go to Israel to learn effective krav maga.

    Training for commando should be "one strike one kill" instead of grappling on ground. Just saying.

    • @indiancombatcoach
      @indiancombatcoach  4 ปีที่แล้ว +20

      Thank you for your suggestion. In all these years of training and experience we all know that "one strike to kill" is a myth. Possibility of Killing varies with different person. There is no pressure point on a body of a skilled and conditioned fighter. So unless you choke or penetrate with sharp objects it's not possible to kill a person. It's easy to kill a laymen with the fancy cinematic moves, but to fight in real , you need to struggle. It's not that much eye pleasing. Vidyut jamwal and tiger Shroff are not real Commandos , not even fighters. They are trained to entertain us with amazing action stunts.
