    Thank you Rachel, beautiful plants. I just recently got a small Cebu Blue that I’ve put in leca. My whole collection is in leca. I can’t wait for my Cebu Blue to get fuller and longer. It’s great to see this plants potential.

      That sounds wonderful, Caroline! This has to be great in leca. This is such a thirsty plant. It's not like the other pothos in that regard.
      Thank you so much for sharing this info on your plant baby! Happy growing! 😊

      I'm obsessed with this plant. A few year ago I received a small piece and grew it in water. Over time I was able to repot it into soil. Now I have a beautiful plant growing up my wall at work. I'm hooked 😅

    Don't mind me, I'm here for my weekly dose....🤣Not spinach salad. Your Cebu Blue is SOOOOO PRETTY!! The leaves on mine are so small, I seriously think mine wasn't mature when I got it. I'm working really hard to get her to "grow up". After all that propagating, she's gotten fuller, but the leaves are still small and the stems are not fat, so...mission two...get her mature so her leaves get bigger and stems get some hang time. I swear, I need to have your videos on repeat so my plants can see what they can be when they grow up😃.

      Great idea! I love to repurpose items for my plants.
      My largest plant in this area is in an 18" pot, but the bottom of the pot has stones in it. That is to prevent water from pooling in the soil in the bottom of such a large container.
      Thank you for watching and sharing. I appreciate that so much! 😊

      Yes!!!! I totally agree Linda. I love to try to find the balance that they are asking for. Most of my plants are very expressive when it comes to their needs. I just have to be willing to listen and act when they make it clear. Thank you so much for this reassuring comment.

    Wow! That is a lot of Pothos!!!! The advantage you have is it is so much plant the both of them is they actually should be slightly more forgiving. My Pothos I cannot water early it will yellow and drop leaves and head toward root rot. Mine have to go dry and stay dry for a while. Then I drown them and repeat the cycle. I have full plants however not as large and long as yours, that is a lot of plant so they may need and tolorate slightly more watering.

    • @lotsofpots.Rachael
      @lotsofpots.Rachael  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Robert! Yes, I agree with you. When they are full and shorter, they do not need to be watered as much. It took a long time and many lost leaves 🍃 before I realized that I had to change my routine as my plants became very long. They will decline very quickly, and they take much longer to bounce back at this size.
      Thank you for watching and sharing your experience! 😃

    Do you find that the cebu blue needs more water then other Pothos? I have the hardest time keeping mine happy.

    • @lotsofpots.Rachael
      @lotsofpots.Rachael  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello to you from the Wilson Tribe!! Thank you so much.
      Yes, I find that the cebu blue is very thirsty. I have to water it twice as much as I water my other Pothos plants. It took a very long time for me to figure that out, but i finally caught on. It helped to bottom water this plant. Then I know that it is absorbing all that it needs with each watering. I hope this will help your plant as well.
      Thank you so much for watching and sharing your experience with your plant baby! Enjoy your day.

    My pothos is balding and I’m assuming because it needs to be trimmed. When you trim it do you put it in water to root first before you add it? Or do you trim and put it straight in the pot?

    • @lotsofpots.Rachael
      @lotsofpots.Rachael  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good morning Sophia!!! The balding can be from a few things. Is the balding on top or on the vines? balding on the top means it needs to have more sunshine on the pot itself. balding on the vines can mean it needs more nourishment, or even more frequent watering to prevent leaf loss. Yes, cutting the vines at the bottom will help because it activates growth points along the stem.
      I do not place my vines directly into the pot. I water prop and then I replace the pieces. I hope everything works out with your plant baby.

    What if you have a heater on in your home, does that play a part in watering your pothos sooner

    • @lotsofpots.Rachael
      @lotsofpots.Rachael  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, indeed. If you have a heater on, your plants will need more water. the heat will dry out your soil. if it is drying out too quickly you can add a pebble tray underneath the bottom of the plant. That will make the plant happy. Thank you so much for watching.
