Not gonna lie, I expected more from this version, overall I think the centurion version is better than this version. Anyway, what’s next? Gimmick Puppet guide? True Draco Guide? Or trickstar?
Okay so how to tell you that without sounding rude? I think being honest is the best: 1. This deck doesn’t really need Fountain to win. WF alone has near infinite grind game and the Runicks are here just as fodder for synchro plays. So Ashing Hugin is like Ashing FS. 2. This isn’t the TCG where Veiler is your best pick up. Performapal Rainbow Magician is searchable with Ricillia. This card alone wall Tenpai giving you an extra turn to grow advantage. 3. Because Gamma sucks now you start playing in the draw phase now with Runicks to circumvent Droll. 4. Because of Destruction limit you absolutely have to play Beware or Scourge (I like Scourge as it allows me to counter DRNM and Evenly). 5. Skilldrain is probably the best tech card this deck can run (Trap that can be turned off/dodged by your Tuners). 6. The biggest selling point about this deck is that it cannot loose to Nib (because of the Tuners) and Maxx C (Silvy add Woes and if you want Ricillia add Rainbow Magician gives 2 draws and ends on Fountain Woes and Floodgate). 7. The only downside is that you don’t have enough gas g2nd most of the time but this can be fixed by either HT war or Boardbreakers like Evenly (I personally like HTs more). 8. Instead of Barone you can also access double Silvera during opponents turn as she is not a once per turn on the Daruma effect. 9. Bagooska alongside Diabell is terrible in this deck as it plays way to hard into Bordbreakers. Alone Bagooska pass is something you can do after Nib though. 10. Slepnir in the version you present is good, however I feel like replacing it with a Hugin might be better as more bodies are better overall. 11. This now goes to personal preference but Smiting Storm at 3 is wrong imo as you cannot combo with two same name Runicks. So adding Dispelling for 1 of them might be good. 12. What also sounds like a good idea is Astella as a one of so Tales isn’t dead as quickly/once you enter the grind game you have a reoccurring body. Thats all for now. Another card that can come in handy is Omega as recycling Fountain once it is banished is nice.
@@aetherwolf9288 Let me answer some of these: You seem to really like rainbow, they can easily counter it by setting a card, we don’t have shrimp yet to destroy that set card Negating fountain search means you have to deal with just 2-3 disruptions that WF sets, definitely much better than 4-5 disruptions + draw 3 every turn You can choose what you want to search, if you like rainbow that’s up to you Definitely play in draw phase to about veiler, I never said not to About scourage, it’ll mostly be an option of either searching it or searching woes, woes still feels better As for Baronne, its options, most of the time Baronne + Silvera is better than playing 2 silveras in your extra deck, As for the rest of the points you made, they’re preferences and general plays, you’re not wrong
@ the thing is, and thats personally for me rather important and why I like the playstyle of WF and Runick, you rather quickly run out of targets for Silvy and Ruciella and if you run out then you don’t generate advantage anymore so you actively loose something. Because this is a Runick deck duels can take up to 10 rounds and so if you run out of targets by round 3 you basically got ashed for 7 rounds without any interrupts from the opponent. And Rainbow in this version feels good to me because: 1. Fieldspells don’t turn it of. 2. Most decks play way fewer S/T than monsters. 3. If they open them they loose basically one S/T before they can even do something (except for WF). 4. If they don’t open a spell they have them in deck and Runick can banish them making Rainbow stronger. The fact that this can serve as a back up and is just a soft brick (as you can discard/activate it) is still very strong. Sure Skilldrain is stronger most of the time but not by a lot. While them negating Hugin to search Fountain the interrupts WF can achieve on its own (Rainbow, Barone and Daruma or Veiler, double Daruma or a combination of the two paired with insane follow up) and the fact that Nib only trades for the potential of an omni negate means you get most likely through the turn so you can start again to search Fountain. Then the double Daruma approach doesn’t take a second Silvera to resolve. Diabel effect to Daruma the field, Silvy effect to return Silvera and then activate Woes to summon her again. Its just another option what you can do. I mentioned the Drawphase play as in the video you started playing primarily in the MP. Thanks for your response and have a nice day AEther
@@aetherwolf9288 thanks for the response, I see what you mean with rainbow, but not worth it in my opinion I still like veiler better And lets say you did flip all their field face down with WH engine, you don’t really have a consistent way now to get rid of those monsters without the runick part (assuming you can’t attack if you activated a runick and they negated Hugin) Appreciate the silvera play I completely forgot about returning it In my replays I’m in main phase yes but I keep things simple, I never mentioned to specifically do plays in Main phase, for advanced players, definitely do in draw phase,
Little advice tho if you are able you can send fountain and get it back with diabell or geri and retrigger it in the same turn so you can end on baronne + cheng + woes (depending on draws either for diabell or for budget karma cannon)

The problem is that runick is severely hit on masterduel, one Fountain is not really where you ever want to be. It's kinda sad because runick white woods is such a fun control oriented strategy with the runick cards and white woods synchros providing several points of interactions and a great resource loop...
@Moha-MasterDuel tbh the runick cards are not the problem it's all the floodgates that make up viable stun strategies and then paired with runick cards... Runick cards on their own favour interaction with interesting back and forth... It's a very huge misconception that people have in mind that runick= stun. If konami banned all the most common floodgates there wouldn't be any issue and most people already hate floodgates it wouldn't be a big loss...

You could try to play the Paleo version. It's more complicated to play and that one is a more random on what disruptions you can use due to the nature of Paleozoic decks, but you can abuse Rollback and get some more value out of Woes.
Astellar is a magnet to ash, imperm, veiler and eats your normal summon so if she gets interrupted it really hurts compared to the other main deck monsters. So if the runick deck has enough starters/extenders it's ok to not run this card at all.
