I realize these RIA videos are all in the can for a while, but next time you hit the road to make videos, PLEASE do something about Steve's microphone so he doesn't sound like he's 3 rooms away in an echo-ie bathroom.
The .38 Auto is not nearly as powerful as the .38 Super. Though a pistol chambered for the. 38 Auto will accept the Super cartridge, DO NOT EVER DO IT! It could cause a catastrophic failure of the weaker, Auto-chambered pistol.

I also know the other gun safety rules and one of them says “ALWAYS Keep Your Finger Off The Trigger Until Ready To Shoot”. Seems like the plastic rod could be considered a “finger”. I guess the rules should be changed to “ALWAYS Keep Your Finger Off The Trigger Until Ready To Shoot, unless it’s not your finger. “

I was simply saying that, after studying up on the standard gun safety rules that the common practice is to never put your finger on the trigger so I was surprised that it was considered “ok” (that’s why I put it in quotes) to put anything at all on the trigger in general. It was a general honest question / comment… and yes I’m a newb and learning everything I can and even Caleb and Steve have a video on safety practice redundancy. So I figured your supposed to assume a gun is always loaded and as a general rule anything on the trigger would be considered bad practice. So I was kinda surprised that they’ve got “something” on the trigger regardless if it’s uncocked, unloaded, on display and handled by experienced professional gunsmiths. All good was just curious. Didn’t mean to come across like a smart ass. Wasn’t my intention AT ALL.
