Thanks for this. Am curious, what is the remote set up (desk and power and WiFi for zoom) given how small it is? I'm 6'2 and wonder how I could use this to work remotely and camp.

Our HCT is actually 6' 4" inside so I think you'd find it very doable. I think the HC1 may run a bit shorter but it would be worth checking out. When we are remote as in boon docking, our ability to work is dependent on the quality of the cell signal. I've considered buying a booster but right now I use an app called Coverage? to figure out if we will have a decent signal. In terms of the workspace inside, I did a video on the setup I used - check it out - th-cam.com/video/L_Dvw7WkI0Q/w-d-xo.html

When you had your son and girlfriend come with you, did all four of you sleep in the HCT? I'm curious as to how well it will work for 2 couples. Do you typically use a queen sized bed (I think that takes 3x3 grids) or the full-size 2x3 in the back area?

May I ask you a few questions??
-so now that you’ve had experience with both types of awnings, which do you think is best? I’d be setting it up solo.. and often experience windy conditions
-also, I’m debating the ac unit via only with shore power.. do you know if it can be hooked up to a generator to work? Vs the huge 4grand off grid package. Not sure I need all that! I don’t boondock but dry camp. Have you had experience with both styles?
-what about the solar package? Worth it?
Thanks for any info you can give.. I’ll be buying the hc1 soon and can NOT wait. Thank you!

I'm so late in this reply that I don't know if it will help but... Absolutely the Fiamma awning. All you have to do is crank it out and we've not had wind issues. If you have shore power limitations on the AC, you should be fine with a generator. It's basically the power source you would plug the rig into - but check with Happier Camper to confirm. Solar is 100000% worth it if you can swing it. Just having interior lights that work without being hooked up would make it worth it.

Yes! We have a truma heater and that gives us hot water in the shower and in the kitchenette
