i don't know if you'll see this before beating the game, and maybe you know already but in case you don't: somnum and luminosa, the two "last resort" items, are the main things that keep you from being able to upgrade your equipment. they're VERY expensive, and use some of your rarest materials. the game almost never forces you to use them, so it's best not to craft them at all if you want to upgrade a lot. or, maybe you don't care that much and you'd rather be able to get out of a tight spot. :) either way i'm enjoying your let's play a ton!
I know it was directed at Gab, but thanks for the tip. I was wondering why I wasn’t able to craft much. I’m actually currently working on the game now. I read there’s a sequel coming.
@@Kumagoro42 Every time the LOOK message pops up, she starts looking around like crazy. So I'm pretty sure she thinks the game wants her to look around manually for something. She doesn't realize that she can just press the stick to make the game look right at the interesting thing
This game makes me want to have a Days Gone + Plague Tale game. An open-world medieval zombie game with alchemy, crafting, horse-riding, hordes, and --- more importantly--- BUSHES.
That book title: "Sanguinis Itinera" can be translated as "Blood Journey"... It was probably a book that would now be used to describe how blood works and gets pumped through the Human Body. However, since the Mom and Doctor would be inspired by it, the book is a forbidden text, and there is the magical kind of alchemy in this game: I would guess that they were trying to take the disease out of Hugo and put it somewhere else. I am intrigued to figure out the connection to the Black Plague but that is my guess for what happens to Hugo... Or they were trying to create something to slow the disease down so maybe some that clots the blood or maybe a blood thinner if they noticed that the disease was already clotting in his veins and that is why it is becoming more visible.
Wow Gran Inquisitor Vitalis... That is a clear comparison to "Vitals" or meaning "pertaining to life/ life-giving." He is after Hugo because of Hugo's blood disease... The development team thought of everything as a possible connection. I wonder who Nicholas (big bad Inquisition Knight) I wonder who he is.
Pro-tip: Do not look up the word "episanguis" because it is a term specific to this game and it involved the ending so no spoilers. I am assuming that since it makes "Odoris" that attracts the rats, Episanguis is blood content, which is odd because it looks like gold. He said when you mix it with sulfar, it makes the smell that attracts the rats... Well "Sanguis" can be translated to "Blood" and "Epi-" means "upon," "above," or "addition" so the word "episanguis" probably means "above blood" so they probably think it is like a "gods' blood" similar to "ichor"
1:55:48 and during this whole sneaking scene, I can't get over how good the sound design is and even the tense strings and musical sounds when a person is killed is perfect. Feels like a scene out of a film and works so nicely here. Feels like it's naturally part of the background score.
Rodric is easily one of my favorite characters of this game. He’s funny, badass, strong, and he’s a raging ball of anger sometimes and I love it. I won’t spoil anything promise.
I kind of wish the when you go on missions, you could choose who your companion is that comes with you: Lucas who is good with alchemy Rodrick who could take down guards and busting down doors Melil who can unlock doors and chests Arthur who is good for distractions Hugo who can fit in small places Amicia alone who can make stealth easier in areas
The Shannara series (Terry Brooks), The Belgariad series (David Eddings) and Skulduggery Pleasant (Derek Landy) are all good books if you are into your horror/fantasy genre.
Bag of Bones, Blood and Smoke, Four Past Midnight, Insomnia, Dark Tower series, The Dead Zone...that's all I can remember for Stephen King books off the top of my head. I highly recommend the Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher and for horror, The Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series.
Congrats on 1,000 twitch subs even I don't watch twitch, but I watch your content on TH-cam. By there'll be blair witch project game coming out on August the 30th I'm looking forward to playing that!
Stephen King has this... always so dark. His stories usually has a dark ending. Not as in exciting, just dark. Koontz usually has a happy ending. But very similar style of writing. Just slightly less detailing objects, and goes more in to the minds and thoughts of the subjects.
I do not know what would be worse: Having Amicia shoot the light over the guard so he gets eaten by the rats or leaving the lights on and having him die slowly and if he tries to get help, he is surrounded by rats
Gab I love your videos and your personality you play all the games I love and if I don’t know them I know I’ll enjoy watching you play them ! I’m absolutely loving watching this old gameplay.
lol you use more of the special bombs in one episode then I ever used in my entire plathrough. I used the thingy against humans twice (one of those when they introduce you to it) And the rat stuff, maybe like 4-5 times to get to the alchemy carts. Don't think I ever used it as a fail save.
1:13:15 "oh don't drink that water, you're deffinitely gonna die" I mean the guy has the fecking black death, he's as good as dead, what's some bacteria in the stomach gonna do. At least he's not gonna be thirsty... then again when he starts pooping water and vomiting he'll be even more dehydrated... buuut that's assuming he lives that long.
indeed in teh very begining they did not know that blood types could hurt each other... in fact they didnt eve know you had to have human blood. early transfursions included lambs blood and pigs blood. also there isnt just a universal donar but there is also a universsal reciever ^-^
Way late (eh, when am I not in comment sections?) but for books? I've got a ton of recommendations saved on my computer if you'd like me to cut/past the huge list. For just zombies, World War Z is great, even though the movie was horrid. It is a journalist who is interviewing survivors of the zombie plague, and showing how various countries came out of it. A good series is Ex-Heroes. A bunch of super heroes started to appear just before a zombie apocalypse started. You follow a group of heroes living in a small settlement as they try to stay safe, expand their territory, and deal with the various problems that exist like should the heroes run things or the normal humans. A bit more on the human side of things (I swear it's not totally political) but still a fun read.
if your looking for a good Stephan King book, Id recommend Under the Dome if you hadn't read it. Its WAY better then the T.V. show they 'based' off of it.
Zombie books or Stephen King books?.. It has been a while since I have read a King book, I think the last one I read was Pet Cemetary. As for Zombie books, the last series I read was The Maze Runner series by James Dashner but that is a Young Adult book so it might be a little immature for Gabs. Still check it out though if you want an interesting read because of the "Zombie" comes from Solar Flares from the sun that mutate and change the human body. W.I.C.K.E.D is trying to find a cure by using people who are immune to the disease to try and studying them trying to find a connection. I do recommend the books, the movies are a different story.
If you have not read this book yet i really think u will like it. Its written be JAMES PATTERSON called "TICK TOCK" i have read it before its great if u get a chance i thinks its a great read you might like😎😎😎

If you rewatch the first part at the very beginning, her father says "you're not 10 years old anymore". That means she has to be AT LEAST 11, although her actual age is 15!
What is the point of the Collectibles? You have "Hugo's Herbarium" which are those flowers that Hugo puts in her hair but what about the Gifts and the Curiosities? I would assume the Curiosities are for Lore but I would also assume that the Gifts are for the people you meet along the way... but you cannot give them to a person so I do not know anymore

2:31:37 Lucas: "Save your ammo. I'll take care of it" Gab: *proceeds to light all the lights except like 2.*
She also kept constantly ignoring every time the game was telling her "Press RS to LOOK" :)

I still cant unsee Lucas looking like a smol Ethan (CrankGamePlays)

The historical accuracy of the bath construction makes me so happy

Best chill content. Love that I get to watch so many good games I couldn’t play, the scary ones especially!
"Why is the music so, dangerous?" I'd hope the MUSIC isn't dangerous 😂

So many great characters in this game. I think Lucas is my favorite. He knows what's up.

Rodric is a great addition to the game :)

@Intra Ignis yeah I think I was ment to put that lol 😂
I would recommend the book
Locke & Key by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodríguez
The show is also perfection.

A little late answer to the question, but The Wheel of Time is a phenomenal series, and they are releasing a tv series on it soon.

The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon was my first Stephen King novel. I would recommend that one. I think it is one of his lesser known works.
They want Hugo for his blood ? His blood is poisoned ! Makes no sense
Gonna grab my Chips and drinks 😁😁
This was very enjoyable to watch
Nice part 2!!!!

I know I’m late I only just saw this video. Regarding Stephen King recommendation, I’d say 11/22/63. It is truly amazing.
There was also a nest in this one!!!!

Rodrics voice reminds me of the Skyrim guards
Should be a very good video cx
I would recommend the Dark Tower series if you want cool weird Stephen King. It's like a 4 or 5 book series.
Along came a spider by James Patterson hope you like it
Like sharknado, but better- rat tornadoes

2:25:35 this part hurts me, you didn't checked the gate where mother suposedly died for the explanation :(
I know that this is 3yrs old but did anyone else take note that she's 9 while the games happening, her dad said she was not even 10 yet at very beginning
She looks around 14 😆 thought the Dad had said this was her 10th time trying the trial.
If you rewatch the first part at the very beginning, her father says "you're not 10 years old anymore". That means she has to be AT LEAST 11, although her actual age is 15!
How do you stay calm in these kind of games ? !

I would assume the Curiosities are for Lore but I would also assume that the Gifts are for the people you meet along the way... but you cannot give them to a person so I do not know anymore
Oh nevermind they are stored in a bookcase in the Chateau
Lucas just wanted to stay the fuckas out 😂
hello I love your videos, I would like to ask you to play megaman x4, megaman x5 and megaman x6 of playstation 1 are incredible games and my favorites think it would enchant you.

1:53:13 LOL
not much left to go
Heart rate Gab gameplay
50 BPM xD
I wonder if the plague was this bad or was the game over dramatizing it. 🤔
This game looks good so far. Anyway, just wondering... why do you keep player games you already played over and over again like Resident Evil.
Cause I like them haha. Don’t you play a game multiple times or watch a movie multiple times if you like it?
