I've just recently found your channel and I love it! I've never had a clear direction in which to decorate-I've got no eye for it. I've always been into a country theme but with all the farmhouse things out now its easy to find inspiration but everything new is so expensive. I've been visiting thrift shops and antique stores and now have a "real life" achievable application. Thank you so much for sharing and how you've applied these finds in your home. I'm definitely using the shelf in your kitchen with the wood cutting boards and kitchen tools as inspo! Thanks Robin!!
Thanks for sharing how you use your treasures! I love all of the pretty plates and that you actually use some of them. Just all of your vintage goodies and your appreciation of them makes me smile.
The pie server over your sink is lovely! I believe the handle is ‘Mother of Pearl”. The silver band at the end of the handle looks like sterling to me.
Robin I love the green & blue glass dishes! They're so springy & look so nice where you put them. The same with your floral dishes & paintings. You did such a nice job in finding your goodies a home.
I thoroughly enjoyed this video. I've yet to decorate my house (6 yrs of reno). I've collected for 20 years so I have tons of stuff. You have given me so many ideas and inspiration to use pieces I thought I'd never have a chance to display. I'm going to check out some of your other vids!!! Thanks for sharing your talents.
You can use Maas polish to clean your spoons that was one of my jobs was to clean the silverware when I was growing up Maas polish is very ego friendly it doesn't give off any fumes or anything and is not harsh on your hands it also does a wonderful job cleans sliver up like new love your house
The double ended roller us great! This looks like Papmered Chef.great for rolling cookie and biscuit dough as well as for crafting. Great find at that price!
I really enjoyed this video. You have such a flare for displays. I always enjoy your finds, and really enjoy when you share with us how you used them. Robin your home is so pretty!
Enjoyed seeing how you styled your finds. REALLY like the flowered dishes, they are so you. They remind me of the vintage sheets that you sew with. I am looking forward to some thrift store shopping today. Always a treasure hunt. Happy Easter to you and your family.
I had so much fun finding places for my new treasures and they all seemed to work so nicely with what I wanted to do, love it when it turns out that way. LOL.
Good morning Ms. Robin love love love your home and how you have decorated, your hutch with the rose dishes is my favorite but I love everything, I know you enjoy your home daily.
WOW!!!! You really have the eye for decorating! I love your whole house. I am currently collecting for farmhouse style, have a lot but need more ironstone, milkglass, and plants. Any other ideas?
Robin Your Home is looking so Fresh and Springish! I'm loving it so much! Your Pieces are fantastic finds! Wishing you and your family a very Happy Easter. HUGS Debbie
Loved seeing how you used everything from your previous videos! I think using vintage necklaces in you blue compote is a great idea but if that doesn't work out you might try using buttons. I collect buttons, especially the old ones made from mother of pearl before plastic became available, and something like that might also be pretty in there with the candle or in those mason jars in the bathroom :)
Love your vignettes...I love to decorate with dishes! I’m always afraid my cats will knock over so most is behind glass. Oh and your bowls on first area (hutch) are Mikasa and that is fine china....I always feel lucky when I find Mikasa or Noritake China pieces! Check EBay to see how much they are worth!
Love the tour and seeing how you use and display your treasures. You mentioned the one hob nail dish being Fire King and you weren't sure if it was milk glass. FireI al King did make milk glass and a lot of it. Anchor Hocking did too. I actually found a milk glass bud vase with an original Anchor Hocking label on it. I love your serving piece with the mother of pearl (?) and silver handle. It's gorgeous! The white handled silverware could also be mother of pearl or even bakelite. I always google my finds to try and find out more info on them. Hope you and your family have a wonderful Easter.
Go to the pharmacy or probably Walmart and buy some mineral oil to treat all your wood bowls and boards with, it’s what is recommended for any wood even antiques so they don’t dry out and the wood stays really pretty. Soak your wood really good at first and let it soak in, I suggest you look it up on google it will explain it all to you. I do it to every antique bowl I have and I have many. Enjoy!
I love your greenery your blue and white dishes are Adorable with the cute little flowers the silverware that looks like ivory and everything on the shelf. I have been loving blue and green lately. Everything is soo pretty! I usually go for pink. Tfs. 💙💚💙 And adore the lily of the valley! I love your curtains i told you already the green sugar bowl and tin. I love old tins they are soo neat. I sold a beautiful tin to a antique store but if she still has it ... I want to buy it back. Lol I love your taste. Oh I love the white pitchers. And the quilt and the cubbys. My favorites but everything is soo nice. So fun to pick out my favorites. 😊🌸🌼🌸👍 Wow I love that flower pot planter! I love old fashioned egg beaters soo .. I love all your old fashion wood pcs. And your Easter decor. Lol P.S. In the covered jars in my bathroom I put my cotton balls and q-tips and my dove soap. I don't know if soap will fit in your ball jars.
The little bowl did go to an old Hamilton beech mixer there were two bowls a much larger one also, I have them both, they are milk glass if I’m correct

Is that a piece of Homer Laughlin Virginia Rose in the corner cabinet? Is it the fluffy rose or the mose rose?
Unfortunately I don't think so , it is unmarked.
