In the United States, for Asians the single motherhood rate is 12 percent, 27 percent for Whites, 51 for Hispanics, and 73 for Blacks to add to what Wes was referencing in this video. The numbers themselves aren't that interesting in all actuality but why they exist is a far more interesting topic. Some people will say it's culture, but culture is an extension of the people. Culture does not shape people, people shape culture.
WES makes reference to the USA (which he refers to as AMERICA) and the ASIAN communities "two parent" family percentage being 90%, black/African/Nigerian is 70%.. yet HE claims it's 84% in COLOMBIA...what an stupid, racist, uneducated comment!!! Does WES not realize that COLOMBIA also has different races just like the USA (which he differentiates for the USA but not for COLOMBIA?)? Is that 84% with white Colombians, black Colombians, mestizo Colombians, etc??? I found WES to be somewhat racist and codesending..is that why no one liked him in the LA/USA, or MEDELLIN? Not a fan!
@@HoustonGuy He probably means the average like the the average in the United States comes out to be about 40 percent. The single parent rate in the Black community in the United States is 73, the Asian one is 12.
@@JakeRunnels he is definetly more conservative than I am, but not by much so i listen to what he says about Colombia. Im just glad that i am not the only one who thinks alot of these young guys traveling are essentially just the male versions of the females in the States that they hate. lol

most men look for love in the wrong places ,bars beaches ,tinder so on and f thats what foreigners look in Colombia but in churches or conservative. universities you going to find a lot good women to choose from and be happily married and most impotantly beatyful in cities like Bogota
As Colombiano myself I really scare of herds of americans coming here the essence of our culture is very unique even at latinoamerican level the only way to avoid destroying that is by you blending into the colombian way of life and educate the ones that are about to come otherwise i. like the bad news of colombia in the mass media because as blessing in disguise that keep of herds. of gringos out.

@@JakeRunnels No such thing as any race. Humans are a species called homosapiens not a race. No race chromosome exists in human biology. Latinos are from Ancient Rome not Iberoamérica. Hispanic is not a thing because Hispania was destroyed in 476 Ad by the visigodos aka as modern day Spaniards and Portuguese.
