Sauron should have just stabbed, her with that dark lord crown, then grabbed her and taken her and their Orcs back to Mordor. By the time they all got back, he would have his queen. But no one was thinking straight.

No wonder she would continuously face temptation though the years; he had that one moment of satisfaction thinking she'd go with him, then spent the next age trying to get it back.

It’s great to hear he’s returning, even if it’s just for one scene. I think it’s significant that Sauron seems to show regret for what he did; that final scene where he expresses emotion and cries is quite telling. It adds depth to his character and makes you think about the complexities of his choices.
