The Boker Plus line (often written Boker+) is their made in China and/or Taiwan less expensive line than the actual Boker Solingen (sometimes with the tree symbol) products. There are also Boker Magnum products, that's the lower end budget range, also made in China. But most Bokerplus products are very good based on reviews and also my own experience, I have a Bokerplus Atlas knife which is fantastic for it's price, also a Bokerplus Mini Tech Tool which is great too. Their Tech Tool line are actually generally more expensive than the equivalent Victorinox SAK models, however the blade steel is Sandvik 12Cr27 which is better than Vic blade steel. As to the multitool, it looks pretty solid and well finished but obviously not quite as good as Leatherman or Victorinox Swisstools. For the price it's great, the days of $50 Rebars in the USA are long gone as far as I understand, I'm in the UK btw so we could only dream of those prices lol. I am confident that Boker wouldn't let crappy products on the market in their name, I can guess that they have stringent QC. I would buy this over other Chinese brands like Roxon for that reason. But I would pay a premium price for a multitool made in Solingen, shame Boker don't make them.
Nice built, just like Nextools. Got a replacable wire cutter though. I got some Boker pocket knife, even its made in China, but it work just great 4 me. Reliable (n expendable) multi tools. I like Boker, so... i do the subscribe 😎
