Soo good to watch you after months of working in the hospital full throttle during Covid-19, I finally have time to watch you and listen to the online comments in your vid, I love it, like finally sinking into a smoky dark blue old velvet sofa and opening a fabulous book! I digress. I wish Lauder would bring back the most gorgeous, powerful formulation of Spellbound✨✨. An Absolu might mean... original formula? 🙊 I know... I am being naughty but that's how I feel about a lot of the reformulation then subsequent release stamping it as a stronger version, when the original was just perfect🥳 Tom Ford is an Estee Lauder group company though... he was mega involved at the beginning of rebranding EL, 2005 ish, with original Bronze Goddess EL, that was him, he knew what to do with EL brand and their original formulationsvand oils, repackaged, remarketed etc. and the perfumers in house heavily involved, but in the past few years he's not been as involved and the reformulations... what happened to my Tom Ford Beautiful Champaca Absolu.. Okay I am shutting up 😐😂

I think Lauder did a magnificent job of honouring Beautiful. I wish Chanel had of paid heed with relation to the 100th anniversary of No. 5.

For the Beautiful perfume launch in Los Angeles, we wore the bright color pink coats with shoulder pads and huge pink sheer scarves, which of course, I wore in my hair like Madonna! LOL! We had a gorgeous dram filler on the counter and filled vials for all passersby. Great memories! I'm hoping to smell the Absolue soon. Thanks for the review, Persolaise.

@@Persolaise What a fascinating interview! I didn't know how quickly the marketing was changed to pink! I do know that Ms. Lauder was the most demanding, yet generous woman to work for all at the same time! She came to a training once, back when we had grand sessions at even grander hotels - The Beverly Hills Hotel for that event. It was her autobiography release and I was feeling VERY out of my element when she came into the conference room. She visited each table and asked us what store we worked in and how we liked it. When she spoke you understood clearly what kind of customer service she expected of you and you were happy to oblige. I was truly blessed to be in the right place at the right time and most definitely, the right year. :)
