She told him over and over that she was so wrong for not telling him right away because she knew that the truth is so important and that a child shouldn't be kept away from its father. And while I agree that bc Michael is Carly's child, she should have say over his life than Robin, AJ was Michael's father and was being completely deprived of his child. Carly claimed that she was keeping Michael away out of his best interests, but that is absolute bs. Jason and Sonny are strong loving men and fantastic fathers, but she knew their lifestyle and how often they were shot at and how often the people around them were kidnapped, etc. from the get go. Originally, Sonny was never meant to be Michael's father, but they made a mistake and fell in love and then what was she supposed to do? Again, abuse or love? I don't think Carly was right to take Michael completely away from AJ. I agree with you that a mother should never keep a child away from the father. So ok is Carly "in love" with Jason, Like at one point did she want to be with him like married and havinga family? I kow she says their best friends but I don't know she' relies so much on him that I think maybe she would be happy if he would confess his love for her and make her his wif.
Jason Thompson looks so different here. The hair, the face…everything. That said, I’m not sure why. Maybe, because he’s older or he lost a lot weight. Which is weird because it’s not like he was heavy either. I can’t put my finger on it.

Yeah, the HIV thing was a low blow, but Carly has every single right to hate Robin. As much as I do have a soft spot in my heart for Robin, I would hate her too if she did to me what she did to Carly.
+Cheyenne Bonnick Ehh but Carly hated Robin before the whole Michael reveal because Jason loved Robin and didn't want to be with Carly. And Carly did keep Michael away from his father under the false pretenses of it being in Michael's best interest. She did the same thing with Spencer years later - keeping him away from his father because it suited her agenda. Carly just wants to assert control over these children's lives and got upset that she didn't succeed, so she takes it out on Robin.
lexi219 Carly hates everyone that Jason is with, so in that regard, Robin is not special. Of course Carly would be mad at Robin because she was with Jason if she herself wanted him, but keep in mind that even though Jason didn't want to be romantic with Carly, he was still devoted to her and Robin knew that and was jealous as well. That's why she did what she did. It wasn't because AJ had a right to know, it was out of pure spite and jealousy. And Carly was acting in Michael's best interest, or at least she truly thought she was. Michael is not Robin's child so she had no right to go against what Carly wanted for him, especially for vicious reasons.

But Robin did tell the truth about Michael bc she thought AJ had the right to know. Not only was AJ her friend, but throughout her run on the show, Robin has always been someone who values the truth. It's why she felt so awful when she realized that she was shutting Patrick out of their baby's life when she first found out she was pregnant. She told him over and over that she was so wrong for not telling him right away because she knew that the truth is so important and that a child shouldn't be kept away from its father.
And while I agree that bc Michael is Carly's child, she should have say over his life than Robin, AJ was Michael's father and was being completely deprived of his child. Carly claimed that she was keeping Michael away out of his best interests, but that is absolute bs. Jason and Sonny are strong loving men and fantastic fathers, but she knew their lifestyle and how often they were shot at and how often the people around them were kidnapped, etc. from the get go. She just let her hormones and her dislike for AJ decide that her son was safer with mobsters than with him. I'm not saying AJ was perfect at all (he absolutely had his own issues), but Carly was thinking about herself while keeping him away from his child.

And I didn't say that Carly's hate for Robin was special - I just said that she hated her bc Jason loved her in a way that he never loved Carly. It's the same reason why Carly is always awful to Elizabeth and why she used to be so awful to Sam (whom she only became actually friendly towards when Jason died).

I disagree. She hates Robin and especially Elizabeth not just because of Jason's love for them, but because they are hypocritical. They pull their shit, but talk about honesty and turn their noses down at others, especially that Elizabeth. It's one of the reasons Carly never got along with Alexis. And though she and Sam were never friendly until after Jason's death, she eventually rooted for Jason to be with Sam and encouraged their relationship. And she hated Sam because Sam slept with her husband, again a valid reason.
As for Robin, I think it is BS to think that jealousy didn't play into her telling AJ about Michael's paternity. Because Jason did everything Carly needed and she was jealous of their relationship, she wanted to hurt Carly so she did. I know Robin cared a lot about truth and honesty, but she is human, and she was being spiteful in that moment.
I don't know if you're a mother, but would you want your child to be raised by a man as effed up as AJ? Look at it from Carly's perspective. There's AJ, a "trust fund lush" to use her words, who has never taken responsibility for his actions and who crashed his own brother into a tree, causing irreparable damage and who treated her like garbage along with a family who treated her like garbage. Would you want your child in that situation? Then there's Jason. He was kind to her, helped her, supported her, loved her, all unconditionally. Yeah he did dangerous things for a living, but isn't the choice obvious? Abuse or love?
As for Sonny, the ONLY reason he became Michael's father was because he got Carly pregnant and they ended up living together because of what was right for their baby. They just happened to fall in love. And When Jason saw how good Carly and Sonny were for each other, he wanted them to stay a family. Originally, Sonny was never meant to be Michael's father, but they made a mistake and fell in love and then what was she supposed to do? Again, abuse or love?
I don't think Carly was right to take Michael completely away from AJ. I agree with you that a mother should never keep a child away from the father. It's why I will never forgive Alexis and will always be mad at Olivia. I even harbour feelings of anger towards Carly (I know, I am too intense about this show). But I can certainly see where these women were coming from.
