I love the challenge videos! I completed the hottest challenge I've ever done in my life a couple weeks ago at a place called Volcano Ramen in Okinawa, Japan. They have spicy ramen at various levels of heat ranging from 1-1000. At level 1000 they put two heaping scoops of carolina reaper powder into the broth. I've never had an endorphin rush like that ever in my life, and my buddy had to drive us home because I was too wrecked haha. I got back to my room and almost immediately had to puke it was so hot, and then I endured CAP cramps for about 8-9 hours in waves. I definitely need a better strategy for challenge prep because I had it all wrong lol.
For something like that you need to be eating 2 super hot peppers everyday for at least a few weeks or months. One super hot in the morning and then one in the afternoon. It’s what I do and now I can eat reapers with only a 4-5 on the heat scale. Not hot enough where I need a drink but hot enough I’m uncomfortable. Been doing it for 3 months and the health benefits also make it worth it.
