- After The Wick, we checked out @KaplanCycles and his sick Dirt Bike museum! They just so happened to have the same 1973 Honda MR50 from my childhood. Fully restored and ready to take for some hot laps! This was the first dirt bike I ever owned and is a part of so many great memories from being a kid. Make sure you visit New England Motorcycle Museum and Kaplan Cycles if you're in the area; you won't regret it.

I'm originally Upstate NY as well. Albany area so Royal Mountain was my "home" track but Unadilla was our Mecca. Been out west for abit but last time I went back to visit Englishtown NJ had a bunch of new tracks they built LI had some new stuff going on and there was rumors of GNCC and a MX addition to the NY safety track the roadrace track for street bikes

You guys should race High Point. In Mt. Morris, PA. The national is June, but they also have amateur races. I'm pretty sure the schedule
You guys must get to Spring Creek MX Park, Millville Minnesota. It's as iconic as most tracks that have been on the schedule for 30-plus years. TONS of history here, beautiful facility!!!!
Some of my best memories spending the whole weekend in millville at that track. Such a fun ass time as a kid
Washougal & Thunder Valley would be great tracks to visit! My parents saved my first dirt bike and I'll never get rid of it!
You guys need to go to Millville up in MN awesome track he would learn a lot there. Keep up the hard work hopefully see you at Crandon this year.

Englishtown, New Jersey "Raceway Park"..... go in October when they throw Kawasaki Race of Champions and show them what's up. Team Green usually has their factory riders and future factory guys there. I can remember seeing Ward, Emig, and even Stewart when he was a kid racing on a 80.

High Point or Southwick...Legendary tracks for sure! gives us Cali fans a different view of tracks we never get to see up close! man the bikes in there are amazing...they really take you back in time!
I was a big supporter of your Dad here in Bellevue Nebraska. He did a ton for the school district. Everyone realizes it now.

I could easily spend an entire day looking at those old bikes. My neighbors had old Honda XT's and yz490's that first caught my interest. I had two yz 400 two strokes and i wish i would have kept one. Awesome to see the IT490 brand new. Wow, cool

I can honestly say as a kid growing up in western Massachusetts everyone with a dirt bike were all Brian Deegan fans. Hitting small jumps on Kx60 and kx80s thinking we were in Xgames.

Highly highly recommend The Oak Motocross park in Pennsylvania. Super fun track with a lot of fundamental obstacles! While you’re over this way you can hit Highpoint MX!

You gotta come to High Point in Mt. Morris PA. It’s been around forever, very historical place. Awesome track too, be badass to see Haiden do the quad there.

I remember my first bike...it was a mini-bike with a 3.5 horse briggs motor my parents said they werent buying that for me so i knocked on neighbors doors to offer yard work saved up enough and bought it for 50 buks...it didnt even have a twist throttle just a string you pulled on to go from the carb....the days!!!!

Brian I got my first dirt bike the same way back in 81. All the kids in my neighborhood had bikes, but my dad wouldn't buy me one either, so I got a paper route and saved enough to buy a neighbors 77 yz125 for $300.
There’s never a prep track for that unless you build one of the old track layouts at the house👀👀

The deegans are just as much part of MX history as all the racers. Growing up in MA racing was amazing and seeing this brings back so many memories.

Thunder Valley would be great to get to. Seems to be the place that a lot of the guys struggle with because it has the biggest impact on the body, and bike due to elevation. Keep up the awesome work! Dudes gonna be unstoppable in a couple years.

So sick you guys stopped in the museum! Love that place. Grew up following the Mulisha. Met Deegan a couple time at the Gravity Games in Providence. A huge influence and ultimately what got me in to riding. First bike was a 1980 XR80

I know they don’t race nationals there anymore but a good track would be muddy creek In Tennessee. Really fun environment and everyone is super nice there. It’s a good track for his level of riding and it’s not to far from the house
It’s not a national track, but Hogback Hill in Palmyra, NY is a very popular local track. First race weekend of the year is coming up May 14/15

Southwick I remember watching lots of races there.. its like an hr from me. Kaplan cycles is a really nice shop in Vernon CT ... Capeway Rovers is sick. One of my buddies son is getting into racing and he rode at capeway last weekend and loved it... we all watched you guys since yall started.
Dont want to talk bad about a track but Capeway is ok at its best. need to go to a real track like Buds Creek

Guys that’s way too badass you guys went there! I’ve been dying to go there! Also I’d love to see Haiden do a gncc. It would teach a lot of mind over matter and adjusting to adversity with the need to adapt to changing conditions. I’m sure he’d do great and learn a lot. Pair him up with stew Baylor and just go for it dude it would be killer!

MR50 was my first bike too. Still got it and a couple of others, they only made them in 74 and 75 though, they were a year off.
