Helge to me felt always like Picasso. He learned all the fundamentals about music, is able to paint the most beautiful realistic painting, if he wants to. But he decides to consciously let out his inner child and makes people laugh out loud in a way only few people can. I'm guessing, he wouldn't be able to, if he wasn't this good in playing music.
Agreed, most comedic musicians turn into instrument playing clowns, just gimmicky. It is tough for them to come across serious musically, especially with humoristic lyrics; it almost always comes across choppy and unbalanced. Only few like Schneider or Frank Zappa can pull it off and sound good.

Traurig aber sehr ehrlich fand ich ein anderes Video von ihm wo er ziemlich am Anfang von Corona sagte, er würde nicht mehr alive auftreten. Es war dem Wahnsinn von Masken tragen und Abstand halten geschuldet. Das new normal gefällt uns garnicht und wir wollen zurück zum alten normal...denn wir wollen Helge Live sehen.
Und was er wirklich kann, ist nicht einmal richtig im Video zu sehen. Helge ist nämlich in erster Linie ein brillanter Jazz Musiker. An der Hammond, sowie am Klavier als auch am Saxophon. Letzteres hat man im Video sehen können.
